Yes, same question again. Someone please clarify -- what role does NOC code play in getting PR ?

For provincial nominations, probably nothing.
For FSW, probably a lot. Nobody can say for sure. but it is believed that some NOCs are preferred over others

Entirely speculation based on hearsay. I think in EE method of application NOC has very little role to play

As long as your job falls in one of the qualifying NOCs all NOCs are considered same. There is no preference given to certain NOC codes over others . If at all they need more people from a particular NOC , Cic will very clearly mention that in their website . For FSW , CEC and other economic streams your NOC Code must be 0 A or B that's it .

Apart from that if you notice few files being processed quickly than others is all because of factors like
Number of applicants , how clear and strong your documents are , which officer is assessing your file , how many places they need to get background check clearance from etc etc . Each file is unique and requires unique processing . I am sure you all ( those who are waiting ) will get your PPRs soon ..... It's just the matter of time ..

Okay, thank you so much for the detailed explanation. Could there also be a chance of someone NOT getting an ITA despite of meeting the CRS score? I know that if one has not kept their Job Bank active then they might not get an ITA.

But other than this, could other be any other reason for someone not getting an ITA despite of meeting the CRS cut off ?

If you meet the CRS cut off for that particular draw YOU WILL get an ITA for sure .

If you are talking about Provoncial / territorial interest they are sent out randomly . Since they have specific limited numbers that they can send not everyone with the same CRS score received PT interest .

But for EE draws if you meet the CRS cut off you will receive ITA irrespective of your NOC
