I was just wondering, how did you all answer the question about when you are planning to move to Canada? We are planning to move next spring but will send our application soon, does it make any difference if you say you will move as soon as possible or next spring? Will they process it faster if you say you will move this year?

Where is that question about when you are planning to move to Canada?? i didnt see that somewhere?
Can you inform me abou it :D

hi maya,

it took me 5 weeks to get my visa.

hope it goes fast for you, too.

hopetoland: you're super lucky!! I'm still waiting for my husband's visa. They started processing his application for PR June 3, 2011. All fees have been paid and medical has been received as well. Not sure what the hold up is. Hope to hear good news soon.

My application was received there last week.
Now I am even more excited...

Hey Omegazeroday: How has your process been going? Berlin started processing my husband's app for PR June 2011. Hoping his visa arrives soon. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi maya,
how long did it take Mississauga to send his file to Berlin? If they got it in March, when did you send it in?
I think 5 weeks is really unbelievably fast and not the norm :)

Hey Waikiki,

I applied January end - approved as sponsor feb end and file was sent immediately after in a few days early March. 3 to 6 months is what i'm hoping for.

Are you also applying through Berlin? What's your timeline?

Hey Maya,
is your husband German or Dutch citizen? Does he have a long travel history or has resided in lots of different countries? I wonder why Berlin takes so long to start processing (March to June), when they have other cases (hopetoland, kaychris, omegazeroday) finished in that period?

Have the same question for maya2010, when the file was send to berlin right away, why they just started processing on june? And not in feb, when they recieved it??

He has resided in a different country which is probably why its taking longer :(.
Hopefully anytime now - its September.

*bump*

How did things work out for you Maya2011? Any news yet?

I'm a Dutchie applying through Berlin. Mississauga received my application exactly a month ago, sept. 22.

I've read about some really fast processing times through Berlin, which would be nice. I'm cautiously optimistic.
