but like i said i don´t have it yet in my hand, it´s still at our local post office! The german closing times are driveing me nuts, i have to wait till monday.

Check your e-case.. I happened to check ours today (even though I looked yesterday evening and there was no change) and it says decision made. It also says that the office will contact us. If I didn't already know we have the visa, I wouldn't know what to think about it. Anyways, maybe it says the same for you? Thanks for the congrats If all goes well when do you plan to land?

yesterday when i checked it says, in process, today it was decision made and the same like in your letter. i can bite my a.. that i wasn´t at home.
by monday i´ll know it

we have tickets for august 12th, we both and our 2 doggies, YEAH!!!

sad that you don´t live close to us, i would invite you guys for a little visa drink in a "BIERGARTEN"!!

yeah i have my visa, got it on monday!!!!!!!!! amazing how fast it went.

this will be the journey of my life kaychris. we´ll be moving to edmonton where my parents in law are, and will stay with them for a while.

never thought of leaving germany, but i think this was one of my best decisions.

when will you go and where?

i´m a bit nervous about the landing procedure, on the back site of the form there, it says what to have with you for this landing interview. i hope of course to pass through without them asking me 1000 of questions.

i´m so thankfull for this fast process, i´m still a bit shocked.

it all went soooo smooth, when you read all the other peoples problems you get scared!!!

thats great! congrats We are moving to Toronto, so again we will not live close by We will be moving in December. His work contract goes until the end of the year and I am continuing to take german classes until then. Did you have these tickets booked before you got the visa. For a trip or something? Are you planning on staying in Canada until your next family/friends visit.

I think landing wont be that too bad. Maybe just tiring, especially if there are lots of lines. I have read on this forum that if lines are not too bad you will leave the airport in an hour and a half. Just make sure you have all your papers in order and it should go alright

i can´t believe that we went so fast through. you and i were very lucky. i´ve got everything for the landing interview, do you know if my husband has to attend it too or do i go by myself. both things wouldn´t matter!

we´ve booked the flights in february when we decided to do the immigration thing, i wanted to go just for a visit and return after 2 months and wait at my parents house for the decision and my husband would have stayed. now i can stay there too!!! YEEAHHH

thanx god we sold already everything, so i can go without headaches and start my new life in Edmonton.

p.s. i have a great life in germany too, but now its time for a change

Hello everybody, hallo an alle!
Well, I knew it was much quicker to go through the process of sponsorship from outside of Canada but my husband and I didn't want to be apart and so we did apply from inland. He is from Berlin also, by the way ;-)
We applied on June 28.2010, and got our letter of ''decision made'' just today, having had to also apply for an certificat of selection here in Québec. Now waiting for an appointment with Imm.Montreal to finalize the decision and pay the last 490.-$, all in all a pretty costly affair

Wow congrats everyone! I'm about 4 months into my inland app (I'm the sponsor ) . You all got processed so fast does anyone think maybe me and my wife should cancel our inland app and apply Outland?

i wouldn´t do it, stick with your inland application if you already started. it doesn´t look good if you cancel it and start a new outland one.

don´t worry it will go fast for you too. remember you are already in canada so the wait can´t be that bad.
