medical -- Feb 11, 2016 (not upfront)
RPRF fee -- March 11, 2016 (not upfront)
ready for visa -- March 16, 2016
passport was sent today.

Finally good news to share.

Got my PPR!
All i am waiting on now is some kind of instructions on how to get it stamped as i am in peru for this year at the moment.

here is the timeline if it helps anyone and to update the spreadsheet:

Police certificate from Trinidad & Tobago request: Jan 18th 2016
Submitted copy of police certificate: Feb 5th 2016

Hi there,We received information from our consultant that we can pick up COPR tomorrow from his office. He was on holiday so probably COPR was in his mail since few days.

How many days did you have decision made? I'm assuming your visa exempt?

Received Passport request today.... You may check my timeline on the left. ECAS still showing three lines only.

Here are my questions.

my son has american passport & I believe US is visa exempt country. So should I send his passport or not ?
Do I need to provide any covering letter by providing the details

Please suggest.

I'm a Oct 14th applicant, got FN on Feb 16.
MR on Mar 17, 2016 at 11:35 AM.

In Ready for Visa email where CIC asked for "The self-addressed, pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post." envelope for them to return my passport. But is there any specific size of this envelope? or could be any size? Thanks

Hi guys, just found this forum last week and I wish I could find earlier so won't be alone in waiting for PR : so here is the timeline:

Application received: September 5,2014
AOR: January 20,2015
RPRF: January 18,2016 (error e-mail,upfront)
PCC request: February 10,2016 ( didn't provide when applied)
Medical request: February 11,2016
Medical done: February 18, 2016 ( ecas was upgraded in a week that results are received)
Schedule A request: March 5, 2016
March 14,2016 we had this line appeared on our ecas: We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 20, 2015. ( we didn't have it before)
PPR: March 15,2016 (ecas updated with "decision made" on March 17,2016)

But when i clicked on Decision Made, I didn't find anything new in ECAS notes except my medicals update ( it was updated 3-4 month ago). And i didn't receive any mail from CIC too on the decision made status. Not sure what's going on... Do you guys have any inputs... ? Any information on how long it takes after the Decision Made?

Long time lurker, just joined to post some good news and ask a quick question!

I just received my Ready for Visa email on the 16th, and my ECAS changed to 'Decision Made' late night on the 17th.

My question -
The CIC says, in the Ready for Visa email, to "Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address: CPC – Ottawa – PR, PO Box 9780, Ottawa ON, K1G 4B9." Does anybody here know if that means it has to be a standard piece of mail? Can it be a courier requiring a signature? I know they ask for an Xpresspost return envelope, but I'm wondering about how all of the documents and the passport is sent to the CPC in the first place. I was thinking of doing it via courier, but they don't mention a separate address for courier, which makes me think it has to be by regular mail. Any help clearing up the uncertainty would be appreciated!

Hi everyone - just received Decision Made on ECAS - I'm shaking! As I'm from a visa-exempt country I guess I just have to assume this is the good decision made unless I hear from CIC otherwise...?!

Finally received MR yesterday. I have an appointment for upfront medicals on 3/22, so this comes just in time. Would highly recommend those who are anticipating MR to go ahead and get an appointment upfront, given the long waiting times especially in GTA.

AOR date: 13-Feb-2015
MR date: 19-Mar-2016
