Hi all....just wanted to let you know I received medical request on Mar 19. Will be booking my med appointment soon. Does anyone know how long the med appointment takes with Dr. Lyndon Mascarenhas?

I am 7th October 2014 applicant, received my MR. But could not find panel physician at Kolkata, India. The link provided with the MR form doesnot work.

Got my COPR today! Oct 14th applicant. Am I allowed to do travelling while waiting for pr card? I am form visa exempt country.
My timeline:
Upfront medical : May 2015
RPRF and additional docs about month ago

Hi everyone - I guess I must be really lucky because today I received my COPR in the mail - ECAS changed to decision made on the 18th!

So relieved to almost be at the end of the journey, good luck to everyone still waiting!!

Finally got medical last night at 10:20 pm, so excited,
Application received on 20 oct,2014.
Can anyone tell how long it will take for the whole further process.

Hi everybody,

I am an August 11 applicant and had been getting more and more nervous as I had heard nothing from CIC after the confirmation of upfront medicals. This morning I got the RPRF request email!!!!!!!

Last time I talked to CIC on the phone two weeks ago the agent said that it didn't look like I was on a second review (though couldn't confirm it) but that they were waiting for some background check documents (?) from my country. So I'm assuming that the delay in my application was perhaps due to the delays happening between governmental communications...

I know that there are still a few of you waiting for the next step; please don't think of the worst as apparently sometimes delays can occur from many reasons that are not visible to us "common folk". Hope everybody gets good news soon and congratulations to the ones who already landed.

This forum has been so incredibly good to me at times, a place I can speak about things like AOR's and extending BOWP's and waiting for RPRF's, all abstract things to some degree to people around me in real life. Thank you all!

hi, I received my medical request day before. I am an oct 17th applicant.
although I have already completed upfront medicals. how do I notify CIC about that?

My eCAS was changed to Decision Made on either Friday or Saturday. I'm able to log in with my RPRF receipt. No PPR as I'm from a visa exempt country.

Aug Applicant....

so i went to the Etobicoke Landing office for my interview today. The lady who interviewed me was confused why I was there.
She told me I am the second CEC candidate today who came in without Passport request. The first person got PR through her.

She wanted to Print my COPR and complete my PR landing as well. While she was going through correspondences sent to me, she saw a new email as of March 30, 2016.
It was a Ready For Visa email sent to me. I checked my inbox through my phone and I found the same email.

The lady then advised me to send my passport and get COPR and PR Visa as advised by CPC Ottawa. She wasn't sure as to why I was asked to come into CIC Etobicoke in the first place.

So if CPC Ottawa didnt email me a ready for visa today, I would have been PR by now lol.
