Hey Guys,

So i called CIC some weeks back to get clarification on the PGWP for express entry, as my wife and i studied here in Canada.

THE REPLY,
YOUR PGWP IS NOT AN LMIA SO DONT CLAIM POINTS FOR IT.

The representative i talked to also told me if i ever claim points for it and i send in my application, they might find my application deceitful and barn me for sometime.

We were only lucky that we had already made an application to the BCPNP last year however the processing is slow. More so we will be taking the English test in April so we could proceed with the express Entry and fill out an addendum for BCPNP . Although we have been watching the trend on this website the BCPNP sponsors people whose application has already been made faster. So am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping we both pass the English test which in turn will help get us the 600 points needed.
Another smart thing i did was make my wife the principal applicant as she is an early childhood teacher and requires a license to practice which will give us another 10 or 50 points.

Conclusion,

If you guys have sometime try to check the BCPNP. Because employers wont give LMIA, i know this because my boss use to give, but now he stopped because its just too many paper work.

Cheers

Hello,

If understand well, to obtain 600 points one needs an LMIA or a PNP under the CEC.
But during the last round of invitation the lowest ranked candidate invited had 735 points.
So it means that someone who gets a lot of points under the A. B. and C. factors might not need 600 points of additional points to be invited to apply for PR.
Does anyone know how many points can we expect to get (from the D. Additional points) if we have a full time permanent job without an LMIA or a PNP?

I tried to be as clear as I could. Thank you for your answers!

Sincerely,

To answer your question, 0.

Under EE, People with a full-time permenant term job but without LMIA is being treated the same as not have a job at all.

As of now, all invitations were given to people with LMIA or PNP. Points may drop, or it may not. Nobody knows what CIC have in their sleeves.
