Hi guys !
I got my AOR on 4th June 2017 and my medical got cleared on 6th of july i guess . May be a day before or after, might not be the exact date but thats how much it took. My NOC is 011, financial manager. After my medical cleared its like the processing has come to a stop. Its on Not applicable stage from last three weeks or probably more coz i didnt knew about these vocab changes, thot they would mail me. So that when i came to know and i immediately checked and i was at not applicable stage n still on that.
So my real question is that i got married on 9th august, i have not still updated my file because my consultant told me first get my husbands pcc done because they will immediately generate a checklist on which i have to upload the documents like marriage certificate, new proof of funds, his passport and pcc. She told me medical will be done after wards when they send you an email which will have barcode for referance to get his medical done. She also told me to wait for documents because she said you have to have all these before you update your file since you will have only two hours to update the file. Which i have never heard of ever, but she works in this field n i cant risk it but i am worried coz its been more than a month since we got marrie and i have not updated my file yet. So is there anyone who can provide me info on this please. Its really important. Thanks

That is simply not true. You have to inform CIC right NOW. They will ask you to update some information and you will have time to prepare any necessary documents. I will not comment on your "consultant".
thanks...even i m worried about this. i have not trusted any consultant so far. i did everything on my iwn. i cnt trust oj thm.. thts y this time i m really scared, i involved ger for sm reason. i thot mny chnges will be done, i need to include her but i guess there is no point. she is useless.
shud i send whatever i have through case specific enquiry form? i do hv proof of application of pcc.

You need to notify them asap. Then, they will request more papers from you. That should be the right way to do it.
You can't prepare all the papers first, and then tell them later.

yes that should happen. you will also have to pay additional PR fees for the spouse and such... like i told you on another thread, the two hour thing can't be true. I doubt cic would be this limiting.

yes i know i need to pay the fees for him and all the documents need to be submitted. i am just worried about the time i will get to update the documents. i am more eager to uodate my file because i dont want that cic shud think i m hiding anything or doing it on purpose.

No, you use CSE to report your marriage and provide documents to prove that marriage. Don't upload PCC or anything not related at this stage until you are asked for it.
ok...thanks. have u done it ever or any of ur known ppl? cse takes 4-5 weeks to update the file.i read it in many threads

U dont need anything to raise cse. Just start making the docs ready to avoid delay.
Yes u can do medical upfront. You can attach marriage certificate in the firm if u want to but it isnt mandatory.
mentioning passport isnt necessary either. Old passport would do
