Hi there and welcome to POS
I am sponsoring my husband from Guyana too.
Question:
Did they request for your meds that you submitted recently and did they notify you of an interview ??

hi needhimback thank you for responding to me. The first acknowledge letter my husband received from missassauga stated that our application had been accepted and is transferred to pos for further processing and if i didn't do medicals as yet i need to get it done. Which i did. And no request for interview

Well lets hope no interview is required. I think at this time your file is
Pocessing for sure and if all your ducks are lined up straight and there are no Ref Flags....then your sailing should be smooth and your next request could be passport request.

If not and they do determine red flags or whatever then after the medical is received and finalized they could request a interview then a decision made after that

I would also recommend you to take a look at the July 2015 spousal thread(there you can see how the other July 2015 applications are sailing through)

Hope this was helpful
But honestly i think you guys are good!

Good luck

Your welcome and thank you

Here is some more information. I Believe this is where you sit now: you are in AOR2 stage take a look :

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

It's kinda still too early in the process for them to say yes or no to a interview
Again lets hope not

Thanks again for the info you shared with me it helped me to understand more about pos procedures cause before i was thinking that they only have to review my medical results then request my passport but now i know there's more stuff to consider. However im unsure as to how pos will contact me for requesting my passport ( email/post letter) cause the acknowledgement of receipt letter from pos was emailed and the first AOR letter from missassauga was sent via postage to my husband.

I pray Hopefully i hear from them in November cause most guyanese get thru in 3-4 months for spousal sponsership.

you are in my prayers and everyone else on the waiting list.

God's blessings

Yes most likely you will be contacted through email, they prefer using email. Your husband correspondence was sent to him through regular mail, maybe because he didn't provide his email address, even if he provided his email it's really up to Mississauga on how they will sent it.

And like you mentioned I honestly do see the Guyanes landing faster than the processing time / which is excellent of course. For me we have red flags so our process could take much longer

The time is quickly approaching ! In just a month you'll be with your Hubby at last :)
I really can't believe the year is almost over

Hubby is doing well :) He saw hail for the first time over the weekend , he was so amazed lol.
And yes he is working thankfully !

I know. I can't believe it either! Time is flying by. Glad to hear hubby is working. My hubby's biggest concern is that he won't find work. I have a feeling he'll get through early next year. I'm so glad he'll be here for Christmas.
