I got a letter advising me that in order to finalize hubby's application, RPRF is required within 30 days. It came from CPC-Mississauga though weirdly enough.

Sooooooo beyond thrilled for you, fad! :-*

Who cares who it came from!!!! Get it paid and your hubby will be in Canada before you know it!!!! ;D

Hi Everyone:

I checked my status this morning and it has been changed to decision made. Didn't see which date it changed. Does that mean that my pp should be heading back?

Hi my name is Queen

Just have a few questions about my husband and I are also inquiring about the TRP does he have to go through the TRV process to get the Travel Permit. I am asking cause I am going through the application process but I am pregnant and we want him here for the birth. I am very early in the pregnancy like only 6 weeks. please and thank you if anyone could answer it for me ?

Hi Queen,

Not entirely sure what you're asking. If you're wondering whether or not your husband will need to apply for TRV while waiting on the outcome of a PR application, if he is from a country requiring a visa to enter Canada, then the answer is yes, he will go through the same TRV process as everyone else.

Blessings are raining upon your family FAD :D! I believe that Mississauga processes all of the payments so that is likely why the letter originated from there. :D But like Nev says no matter where it came from all roads are leading to you, hubby and baby girl being together soon. ;).

congrats again to everyone who got ppr, oi would also like to know from everyone how long it taking between 2-4 weeks doc-lady how long did it take from the time u sent your passport, what about behopeful. let us know am anxiouse here/

I'm just so happy for everyone getting all of this great news--it makes me hopeful and excited for when our time does come... I know that we're bordering on the early realm of possibility but also realistic that we may be facing a few more months. Every time I see good news on here, I rush to ECAS :D. Of course, my heart is with all of you that are facing further struggles (appeals, long processing waits, etc.) with this process... it will all be worth it in the end and everything will work out as it should but that doesn't make it any easier in the current moment. Life indeed feels as though it is passing us by. I can only hope that when we're all reunited with our loved ones that we finally see that our life wasn't passing us by so much as we were living it for the future.

Congrats louisfam and doc lady !!

Question: has anyone sent additional packages to POS-does it affect the file if they have pull it, would it actually get put in the file? I want to send some pictures from recent trips, text messages, Skype call logs etc?
Suggestions please?

I sent it on the 20th of September. I will check my tracker tonight and if it is in transit, then i should be getting it back this week. Will definitely let you know Mr. and Mrs. Millslu.

Hi KIAB, I am not entirely sure on this one as I have read all of the following from different forum members:

-If you send hard copies then they have to pull the file and it may cause delays.
-If you send too much electronically it disrupts their e-mail capacity.
-If they want anything else, they will contact you when needed.
-If you feel that you have not submitted enough with your original application then send more.
-If you have GCMS notes and the IO has documented any concerns, then send what you have to address the
concerns only, along with a cover letter explanation tying everything together for them.

Confused yet? :D Me too! We'll see what others say. Blessings.

Given that you're quite early in the process, it likely won't affect your processing, as realistically your file is most likely in the queue at POS still. However, when sending additional proof, make sure it really is "additional" It should add something substantial to your file and you should be able to explain in a cover letter why you feel it's necessary for the VO to review. Otherwise, it might be perceived as not having prepared your original file completely and/or panicking, which would cause them to wonder why.
