Morning forum family,I am still here,was in the hospital in january
for couple of days, i had a surgery on my throat,was home from wk
for 8weeks,hubby was taking good care of me,but thank God all is well
now.Millslu,my hubby interview only last about 15 minutes the most.

morning @lovingwife am very sorry to hear about your ordeal i hope you are doing much better, and congrats on your landing and your better half being with you. i have a few questions if you dont mind

1.why did u get an interview
2.did you order your notes an how long it took to get it.
3.did u have any red flags on yur file
4.what questions did they ask you in the interview
5.how long after the interview did the ask for yur passport

@Millslu,we don't need a visa from Barbados to canada,he got his CORP
the same time.I wrote on our application that we knew each other
since we were kids,was born in the same place,but i only met some of his
sisters different time and the officer looking @ the file couldn't understand
if we knew each other why didn't i met some of the sister.My hubby answer was
because some of them were living in different country.make sure you know your spouse
very well,birthday,work place,school,marriad date,all about the wedding.We look more prove
but they didn't even look @ them.phone bill or magicjack records.how many times a day we spoke.
when last did i visit him in barbados,and he say my wife is outside waiting for me.That was it and
she say the about of time my hubby visit me in montreal,she can see our relationship is for real.
Millslu just don't look nervouse,or though my hubby was a so scared,i wish i couldn't have being the
one having the interview,lol.

thank u so much @loving this is quite helpful, i forgot yurll didnt need a visa unlike us we just go sanctioned to use on in september that was a bugger,did u order any notes when they told you about the interview. and can you share you landing story with us. and u said you brought more proof and they didnt even look at it, what proof did you bring was it the one specified on the interview letter?did they look at the magic jack info and skype etc

@Millslu,we didn't order no notes,my hubby was here visting we went to ontario
for a few days,and when we came back i check my ECAS,and i saw the interview
but they send a letter in the mail to his home address,about all the detail.YES
they look @ the msgicjack calls,because they wanted to know how many times
a day we spoke.He went back home because he needed a new police certificate,which only took
a day to get because he never knew he had a family member working there.

@lovingwife i see, looks like u didnt have much of a problem your husband was always with u being that he didnt need a visa and he wasnt deported, so i guess he had no problem spending time with u until his PPR was approved.how long did he spend back home in barbados?

@PRINCESS i asked earlier why you think you needed a lawyer to handle your sponsorship, trust me they are useless. did you have any issues with your file, could you tell us about your situation.?

we got the lawyer so we wouldnt have to worry about anything. kinda wasnt mine or my husband's idea. im thankful for the lawyer cause i didnt know where to start or anything.

and for me about 7 times,you see my hubby is a carpenter
and work for himself so thats why he could travel so much.
He brought his mom in 2010 for a visit and 2 of his sisters came for visit
me in 2012.We had all those pics .His landing was really quick because we had
a connecting flight from Toronto to montreal.

thank you for this information lovely wife....kingston office send me an email saying i have to do an interview but they have not schedule the date as yet......so im glad for you to share what to expect once you go for the interview
