Yeah id have to send it in seperate because it has to be whithin 3 mths of handing in the sponsorship application... i didnt know i could do that lol what about the ARC?

so llet me get that clear is someone doing your papers for u or are u doing it on yur own, either or send the sponsorship application and also the ARC as well if you already have it done already, if you dont have the ARC done already just send the application, the ARC can be sent later, it all depends on what u have right now that is complete. again if everything is complete send everything if everything is completes except the RCMP still send it, if everthing is complete except the ARC still send it.

No help, im doing everything on my own, i just had someone help type everything up. My confusion about the ARC was based on all the research i did, it kept bringing me back to the fact that i had to fill out a temperary visa application along with the letter to why he should be able to come back, passport copy and passport pics lol oh and the 400 bucks

His Canadian background checks took that long. St Vincent ones were done in like a week

oh i see well there is one problem with the ARC, and let me ask u, how did u get the ARC form casue that form is very very hard to find, they litterally hide it from u, my councellor had to get it for me from her stash lol. so if u have the form it suppose to come with a check list which says a letter of apology RCMP clearance i think some pictures as usuall and since u applying for sponsorship everyhting else they will have it with the sponsor application. and maybe am confusing myself but why would u want a temporary visa application for? does he want to come back before he ppr is done or is he gonna wait until he get his permanat resident\?

wel if am not mistaken when u do canadian own u just go to the office they do your finger prints and stuff u tell them were u want it for they give u a receipt and tell u that u will get it in a few week, now am not sure but u get a form with yur picture and finger prints. mine took i think a month to get it.

Ok! Well I'm learning so much today!

So I need to do the RCMP thing. When I sent the app I figured we would do it when they asked. Now thanks I Millslu I will get on it right away.

Now I'm learning I need to do the ARC too. What does ARC stand for? Again I assumed I would do it when it was time for him to return and figured they mostly wanted the money. I know it's an apology and sending the money, but is there a form to full out too? Frig! Such confusion! Thanks all for bringing up these points!

i think the ARC you will have to go to a councellor, some of them charge 1500.00 for everything, becasue you cannot get the ARC(AUTHORISATION TO RETURN TO CANADA)online that easy,you might need to get a councellor to either sell it to you,some will do it for u for a fee, some will fill it out for u for a fee, some will do both for a fee, and some will do both and send it off for a fee as well. the 400$ you pay as a bank draft or money order and you put the money order or bank draft in the package together with the ARC.

@behopefull if he already left canada i would advice you to have him do it just in case and also do on in his country as well,but the one in his country should wait until they ask him for it.

I sent it on the 26th Feb and got it back on 12th March, so I didn't have to wait too long. The process was pretty straight forward, when I arrived I met the first immigration agent and she ran through my documents quickly, welcomed me with a smile and sent me to the second immigration agent who had me sign my Confirmation of Permanent Residence and asked a few questions (we joked around a bit) and then I stopped in at customs to declare what I had, there after I jumped in a cab and headed home. The whole process took about an hour max.

Hahaha. Whenever I come to Canada I always request that my wife not come get me at the airport because she has a tough job and has a bunch of other stuff on her plate so.... plus I travel a lot so I'm accustomed to arriving at airports and finding my way around. Not a big deal. Are you ready for your interview?
