@mizzd umm it reminded me of my ex wife who when she brought me to canada deceived me and didnt tell me about the stipulation of a sponsor, you see she use to work with cash alone and she havent had a proper job in years and she didnt do her taxes in years as well, so without any showing of income she couldnt have sponsored me and i didnt know that..long story short you have to go to the website and find what you need to be eligible to be a sponsor, its on the website.

of course not but am not sure if you want to tell them you work for cash, are u paying tax on that cash transactions?

No Im not but there is a minimum amount you can earn in cash before you have to start paying taxes, I believe its 24,000 if your married.

i thought it was 500 a month, well as long as you not on welfare as well.

ya i make like 2000 a month and im not on welfare lol One of the consults we were using told me that ppl can sponsor as long as they aint on welfare from the time they put in the papers to the time its all over.

@ Bim2Cdn - great that you heard news. Send them a CSE and say it's been more than a month! lol It's long overdue for you.

@ mizzda - You're sending a family class application (instead of the temporary one that some people send with ARC). If there was no sponsorship, you would have to send in a TRV application (because you can't just send in an ARC alone). However, your application for family class trumps a temporary application. So you will need to do sponsorship application and then an ARC. I was under the assumption that they asked for ARC when you needed it, but I could be wrong as hubby has never been allowed to come to Canada.

@Mizzda, your income is fine. Just send a letter stating that you work for cash (assuming it's legal), how much you make, why you don't have to file taxes on it, and why you are currently not working and when you plan to return. I'm a student and I have little to no income for now and I was approved to sponsor. You'll be fine.

Thank you! That does make complete sense about the ARC, after searching diff posts on here it seems thats what everybody does so we shall wait I do have a business lisence that I think I should include and also claimed all (ok some) of the cash I made in 2012 lol
Ohhhh and guess what I just found out.... hubby was geting welfare from March 2012 until last month when he was removed.....its funny how things come up when your doing a sponsorship : I hope that doesnt effect anything though

lol u kiddin well just fill in the application and send it in make sure u fill out everthing and dont bother sending an ARC until they ask becasue it looks like you have a few red flags that might not go down to well with CIC so just send the application makes sure it is filled out u give them what they ask for on the check list and just wait, in 30-60 days they will tell u if u qualify to sponsor him. if u have any problems filling out the form let us know

I know! There are so many things I didnt know until I read up on it on here. I dont think its gna be too bad, it could be worse, he could have a record which he doesnt. I just think its going to take a long time
