Good Morning Miss D.. pretty sure you woke them up last night with all that shaking and bruping!! (sorry need to work on my slang) ;)

good day every one, so fortunately my file got reinstated back, my wife and i found out someone sent a withdrawal letter on the 16th of febuary. we asked cic how is it possible for someone to do that, she said all they need is a signature, they don't need a uci number, so my wife and i was very distraught hearing something like that, so for some reason the cic officer didn't take time to check the signature with the one on file. so yesterday they received from out lawyer all our submission revoking the withdrawal and asking for a full investigation. my wife and i still paranoid and frustrated wanted to know what we could do to safe guard our information, unfortunately there was nothing, if any body have your information out there, DOB,UCI# NAME , they can know about the status of your application.

We tried to remove our information on E-CAS just on my file alone and then we would use my wife's file number since it has both our information only to find out that when you remove it it applies for both the applicant and the sponsor. so again there is nothing we can do. and even if we remove it online, cic has an automated system were you can just give the information over the phone, so right now there is nothing my wife and i can do but wait for the next move from this disturbed person to attack us next.

Millslu,

I am sorry to hear about this. You and your wife are in my thoughts and i pray your applcation will continue with no additional hiccups or issues. And remember than karma will come back and kick this disturbed person in the butt..

I knew it! That's all they needed. That's scary!! And so unfortunate. But I really really think with all this fuss now millslu that someone will have hands on your file and is looking at it right now. This might just be the push they need to pull your file and finish it off.

Glad u got it figured out!!

Lol @ Ms M - bruking not bruping. Hubby will teach ya the slang, nuh worry hehehe

Cmon POS!!

haha thanks @missd @malawi for your incredible support, you know the funny thing is my wife is saying the same thing, she said maybe they will finally take a look at my file, its funny how smart women think alike lol. am just happy it is sort of over, my wife take this thing so hard at time and not being by her side, its fustrating. thanks for your prayers.

Gmorning POS.
millslu do they know who sent the withdrawal letter? That is really scary.

Well i've been MIA. Just having a bit of a breakdown. Due to give birth anyday now and my husband will not be here for it. I know many ppl have gone through it but it doesnt change the fact that ut hurts. And having evrryone ask me if he is going to be here for the delivery...knowing full well that he wont doesnt help either. I prob shouldnt complain since there r ppl waiting for way longer than me but that's my vent for the year!

Fromadistance... I am so sorry that you are going to be going through the experience of having your baby without your husband. I couldn't imagine. Luckily my husband was still here when our daughter was born. I can imagine all the questions make it even more difficult. Just out of curiosity, why did you file in December instead of sooner? I get this question all the time too and I really wish we would have filed sooner before he left Canada. Hind sight is always perfect. Has your partner been to Canada?

Wish you all the best on the birth of your baby!! Let us know te details when he or she is born! Congrats to you and your family in advance.

oh wow congrats on the baby, how comes you didnt file for human rights, that sucks that you have to be delivering that baby without him around, i hope you gonna be ok.

@fromadistance i don't know if they know who it is but i know, i know the wicked ex-wife of mine who did this.

@Millslu that's really unfortunate. Someone messed up somewhere, cause a sponsorship withdrawal should be double checked and should include identifying info for both the sponsor and the applicant. Hopefully there are no more setbacks and your file processing and continue quickly and smoothly.

I remember when we first started this process, even before coming on this forum, we went in for a consultation with an immigration consultant and I never forgot her advice: keep this process as secret as possible. There are more ill-intentioned people out there than you might think. Aside from obviously keeping id numbers confidential, we were careful not to reveal too much information about where we were at in the process, details, etc. to people around us. We took advantage of the fact that although my husband is Dominican, the file was processed in Trinidad by letting everyone assume that processing was in Dominica or Canada. It may seem like paranoia, but cases of someone contacting your VO to blackball you are not as uncommon as one might think. There have been several instances of people writing letters to the VO claiming the marriage is not genuine or otherwise discrediting the file. The stress of this process is hard to bear and it's tempting to vent to anyone who will listen, but always be very, very careful who you share information with.
