Awe honey, you have every right to complain. Of course you knew that he probably would not be here with the timeline but it does not make it any less hard. I understand what you mean about people asking you things like that and making it worse. People ask me all the time how hubby is and I say great and they say "Oh, so how's he liking Canada"... I have to explain that hes still not there and our whole life is messed up til he is.. and then it makes me sad to think about it.. People just don't GET it. But we do and we'll be here for ya.

Any plans to visit hubby after the birth and take baby? or do you plan to wait until he gets here? I know he wishes he could be there and there's nothing to say to make it easier...

Awe thanks missd. You are too kind. Oh well we made the decision to marry someone from another country and this is just a temporary setback to many years of happiness. No doubt this process makes you stronger for sure. I am definitely going back after the birth. My husband wishes i could come the day after she is born lol.

hahahaha mine would be the same way. He asks me all the time if we can have a kid NOW and I tell him once he arrives and has stable work, then yes. But he wants it NOW and I ask him how he would see the child, and he always says I could deliver in Dominica (uhm, no, I've worked in the Dominica hospital) OR I could fly there IMMEDIATELY after giving birth (uhm, clearly he does not have a vagina.. NO.) lol

Hubby will be sooooo excited to see you and baby comin off that plane!

I agree with Zouk, I give out certain details on here (like where I'm from and up-to-date info on our process) but I would not give out this up-to-date info to just anyone. My mom, my dad, my hubby get the info and that's it. Otherwise, people just know we are doing a sponsorship and details aren't given out. You never know.. I've even heard of applicants families trying to cancel applications because they knew if the applicant went to Canada, no more money would be sent to the applicant and their families abroad. Scary stuff. I told hubby he could give his friends info on the process and how we're going - but he has never given details about the filing and office to anyone... Better that's between the sponsor and applicant only.

I never realized how something can spin outta control like it does and someoneis so malicious towards us. Mr. M and I didn't tell too many people other than we are doing sponsorship.. however I am still dealing with his crazy ex - and hearing the stories on here makes me a little more cautious and concerned. I always ask him who knows whats going on. He thinks I am crazy.. which not gonna lie I am.. but to hear that this happens and then your application is set aside.. its nerve wracking onto of all the stress already associated with this wonderful process..

Trust u indeed. I delivered babies AT THAT HOSPITAL.. no pain meds, no comforting, just push and shut up. Then you don't even get to have hubby visit you in your room after cuz there are 6 women in one big room and hubbies only allowed to visit during certian hours. No sir. Thank you. LOL I couldn't do it. I'd be sneakin him in through side doors LOL

@Miss M my lil one better not be brukin no where til she's grown LOL omg. I can't imagine the CUTENESS of the kids that we will all have. Wish we could put them all in school together or something... aweeee! Now all Im thinking about is babies. You notice my clock ticking and I'm still in my 20s lol...

I wanna fit in with all the cool people.. and since my Malawian English is ok.. I had to learn how to be Dominican and Jamaican.. so Miss D is helping me out!

@ Miss M my lil one better not be brukin no where til she's grown LOL omg. I can't imagine the CUTENESS of the kids that we will all have. Wish we could put them all in school together or something... aweeee! Now all Im thinking about is babies. You notice my clock ticking and I'm still in my 20s lol...

None of the people I delivered babies for had pain meds. Maybe they have them if you're rich and hire a private doctor to come in (some people apparently do this), but if you show up to the hospital and you're just a regular pregnant woman, you're gonna deliver that baby without meds. Your mama's a tough lady! I don't think I could do it lol
