So the UCI (Client ID) that your WIFE got as a sponsor from stage 1 is ONLY good for monitoring e-cas changes of STAGE 1 on e-cas (which you are done with now, so no use watching that lol). When POS sends you a letter saying they received your file (AOR), they will give YOU (applicant) your OWN UCI to check for e-cas updates on STAGE 2 processing. They will also give you File number (F000XXXXXXX). You can use YOUR (applicant) UCI or File number and the APPLICANT information to sign into e-cas to check for STAGE 2 updates. Because you have been involved with immigration before, YOUR (applicant) UCI from the past may still work since you are the applicant again in this case. UCI does not usually change (once you have one, it's yours for life usually). So, what I'm saying is... You don't have a file number and you can't use the sponsor UCI to sign in, but if you can find/remember your OLD UCI from other apps, you can try signing into e-cas to get information about the POS processing. Go here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp Click check application status, then click PR outside of Canada, then click simplied application, then agree to all the crap, then enter YOUR OLD UCI from past sponsor applications FOR YOU (if you have it) and YOUR info (not the sponsor info, only the applicant info) in the fields - it asks for DOB, etc (this is YOUR info, not your wifes) and YOUR old UCI number and you MAY be able to sign into e-cas for stage 2 if they have updated your info in POS already. If you can't, you'll have to wait for your AOR to use your new file number.

Hope that helps

Miss Universe.. I am taking notes!!!! I don't have a Pretoria family (lucky if there is another person on here going through them right now) and if this call out works.. I am following suit!!!! I remember someone mentioning something about some crazy concoctions awhile back and I think I may have to track that down!!!

Good luck on your exam and keep smiling.. this will all be over soon enough (or so I have heard soo many times)

Hey guys n gals! I'm still here lurking in the background, sometimes just don't get the chance to actually type anything. POS is long overdue for some updates, so hopefully they'll get cracking again in time for their quarterly update.

@Melanitabonita, it took about 8 weeks for Ottawa to process our medical renewal and send it back to POS. On the plus side, they did issue the visa pretty much as soon as it was received.

wow @misszouk in our presense its an honor, you are a legend in these parts, never met you but i heard so much about you, you use to rule this part with an iron fist, again its an honor. btw are you loosing it why are you talking to missbonita she is not even here unless i miss a post. lol

@missmalwai welcome to our forum sorry to hear you dont have a following you can always hang out with us, if things ever get rough we can always call on MISSD she is a doctor. lol

tomorrow is friday another hopeless week i feel but its still early so god bless umm everyone

hello guys,
So i sent another email to POS asking if they have any timeline as to how long it can take Ottawa to send them the medical results and ho surprise got a responce in 30 minutes!
This refers to your E-mail below.

Unfortunately, we cannot tell a time when Health Medical Branch - Ottawa will forward the results of your medical assessment. However, as soon as we do receive it, we will proceed with your file.

We hope the above information will be of assistance to you

Not much, but at least the replied right??
