Just got a call from fedex....My pp is here folks.
They sent it out this morning at 7:30.

After all, I have to keep sending CSE's to POS for movement on my file. Can you believe it? Stupessssssss!!!! Those ppl are worthless in that office. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

E-CAS still says in process....Well, I gave up on that a long time ago.

OMG!!!! I just opened the package. Guess what?
There Is No PASSPORT!!!!!!!

Enclosed are COPR docs, my refund, my birth certificate they took at the interview, our pics and other proofs we sent in when we filed the application (tickets, hotels, receipts etc.)

Is POS even serious????? C'mon man!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe they forgot to include my passport.
I just called the office. It's closed but thank God i have the extension to the lady so i left a msg. Sending a CSE now. This office ehhhhh!!!!! Woiiiiiiiiii!!!!! I just hope they have not lost my passport. Ohhhhhh!!!! & I'm definitely not paying for the return of my passport either. It should have been in the pre-paid return package that I spent over $200 for. Money don't grow on trees!!!!!!!

Oh gosh, Admirable I really cannot believe how POS have you untidy so! This is like one of those moments you see on tv and go "sure, like that would ever happen in real life". At this point, you really have nothing to lose, you're approved, so I say break down doors and start to make trouble until they fix this!

It's really unfortunate but I'm so over it. I'm not even upset anymore. POS never cease to amaze me. That's just extremely careless. Maybe they thought the stack of pics in the small envelope was my passport...IDK. Is it really so hard to go through the package to ensure that all contents are there? I mean, we all did it before we filed our apps and triple checked before mailing our docs off. I have a feeling they will send it to me via the cheapest method and it will take 2 weeks before I receive it. I just hope it isn't misplaced.

On the bright side....I'm 1/2 way through. I have everything else. Praise God for that!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Long weekend so i'm starting the day early.

@ Saka What else can possibly go wrong? It just makes me wonder....Smh!

@ Bajeinwaiting, I have not received my passport even though the docs state that my visa is affixed in my passport. You missed the latter part of when i actually opened the package. ***That awkward moment***

On the check they spelt my last name wrong....You know when you're writing one word and end up writing a completely different word towards the end....Pretty much losing focus midway though the spelling. I guess her mind was in another place & since we tend not to proof read and double check Mrs. Admirable's docs, careless mistakes are made. I don't think I would have a problem depositing the check back into my acct. *fingers crossed*

I have until March 8th, 2013 (expiration of meds) to land. It's a good thing I renewed my pp as it was set to expire in July of this year. The visa was issued 5/23/12 (2 days after I sent the CSE). When i see things like this, it just tells me that POS is just sitting on their behinds wasting time on our files. Honestly, one can get back their passport as early as 2 weeks. In my case, best I didn't even send the CSE because I still don't have my passport....after 4 weeks and counting.

I'm not upset!!!!!!! I'm cool, calm and collected.

Admirable I'm sorry this is happening to you..i did miss the later part of your post. POS really only do things when you send them inquiries ..I have proven that cause they did not even call or e-mail me to let me know my docs were sent. i had to email them.

it's good that your landing date is far off though..mine is soon coming.....

@ Bajeinwaiting Yuup!!! You're right. Send them a CSE and they start working. It's like you have to show interest in your file and show them that you are serious about immigrating to CA. If not they just prolong the entire process.

I just logged on to E-CAS. Decision made is my new update. It had to be updated sometime yesterday after i checked because I am up extremely early this morning and yesterday it still showed in process. Still no response to my email concerning my pp. I'd think this is an urgent matter but these ppl at POS are very lackadaisical.

Ohhhh I believe even though office hours are closed. They do work weekends. My E-CAS...although very unreliable seems to be updated towards the end of the week and weekends....Not Tuesdays.

Hey everyone - hope you are having a great weekend

I have a question. When you send in your application for the original SPONSOR part of to be assessed, do you get a case number or ID number for your file as soon as they get it? Or do you only get this number once you have been approved as a sponsor? I am asking because I will be applying within the next 2 weeks from Dominica but before my sponsor application decision is made, I will have moved back to Canada. This will be good, because they will want to see that I have resettled in Canada as part of my application, but my address will be listed as Dominica on my application. So how will I let them know I've moved back to Canada without slowing down my application processing? That's why I'm hoping I'll have an ID number I can refer to. Do I send a CSE or how do you send them update of stuff like that?
