POLICE CLEARANCE REQUEST- Did u work for more than 6 months on other countries?

I'm the Applicant yes they did asked me to get PC abroad ... I received an email from CEM Feb. 13, 2012 requesting for my PC abroad and they gave me 45days to obtain it . This is the email that I received from CEM:


Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as member of the family class.

Please find herewith your letter requesting for **********(name of the country) police certificate.

So, when you filed the application you didn't submit the police clearence of another country,right?

I wanted to ask everyone. Will they ask me about the police clearence of another country again (if it crosses 6 months or 1 year time limit since approval) just before giving the visa? I mean I have already submitted one copy while filing the application, will I need to submit another copy before getting the visa?

So, when you filed the application you didn't submit the police clearence of another country,right?

I submitted my PC in our VO just last month JUNE ... My husband filled our Application in CIC and received it Nov. 1, 2011 w/o PC abroad then I waited from our VO to request it . If I knew that early I probably took and send it together with our Applications. As you can see on my post and timeline that was the time I comply to the Request Docs. which is my PC abroad.

Ako rin yung bansa na napuntahan ko di rin nagrerelease ng PC pinuntahan ko ang Embassy sa may MAKATI pero wala daw talaga di nila ako mabibigyan kasi visa lang sila yung lang di sila nagrerelease ng PC wala akong magawa kaya gumawa kami ng paraan ni hubby ko para makakuha ng PC abroad . Request kasi ng CEM. Swerte mo pag di kana hiningan diba ...

I dont have the police clearance when we submitted our application in January but i enclose a note that i'll send it to them as soon as i have them.
Then I emailed CEM in April if i could send the 2 police clearance even they haven't requested it.

Please be informed that you may submit the original UAE and Maldives in your possession now. If these are not satisfactory, you will be advised in due course.

I send the police clearance along with my passport (even on the passport request they ask for other documents but still not the police clearance, hence i still send it)


***Nasa lists namn ng application ung mga documents na nirerequire nila so better comply na lng agad kesa hintayin pa ung additional documents, wala namn mawawala kung maging cgurista.

AS for our case, what we did was we really intend to request from Singapore. Then we waited for them to reject us, and as well as we did some follow ups so the email conversations and rejection letter sent to us was submitted to the VO so that they will see we had tried.

JUst crossing our fingers that they wont ask for it anymore..

if you work or stay in another country for more than 6 months yung Police Clearance mo from that country, pero kung dito ka lang naman sa Philippines NBI clearance na ang nakalagay sa purpose ay VISA CANADA.

Hi Everyone,

I am an Indian citizen who stayed in USA since 2008 and I am back to India now for past 8 months. I got married to a Canadian lady who is a Permenant Resident. She is filling out sponsorship application for me. Now CIC requires all applicants for Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visas, 18 years of age and older, must submit a Police Certificate from each country in which they have lived in for 6 months or more since their 18th birthday as part of the security clearance process, along with an application.

I will need police clearance for India and USA. Knowing the fact that USA takes 16-18 weeks to process police clearance. In the mean time can I submit my application along with Indian police clearance certificate? so that the application doesn't take a lot of time to process.

It says other country than your country of residence...

Pero as far as i know, like us sa Philippines, we also submit NBI and Police clearance diba?

No not anymore, because once you pass the PC abroad to the processing office the expiration is no longer exist but if the PC abroad is on your hand it actually expires for only 3 months.

Note: A certificate is valid for three months.
