Police Clearance Certificates - Original or Via Email?

Friends,

Have a quick question:

CIC have asked to submit the PCC for my parents. They sent an email asking for the same and asked to REPLY to that email with PCCs and mention the Application Number in the subject.

I have heard from many people that CIC always ask for Original PCCs.

Do I need to send the original PCCs even if I have sent the scanned copies of PCCs?

Please help as I am already late in providing the PCCs.

Thank you so much,

raecy

I'd be inclined to do both. I'd send scanned copies of the police clearance certificates as a reply to the e-mail they sent you...just as they asked you to do. I'd also mention in the e-mail that you are sending the originals in the post. Then post them in along with your application number and any other identifier that will help CIC link them to your application.

ok thank you - They didn't specify anything but just mentioned to reply to the same email.

now reply can be interpreted as "Just a reply to acknowledge" Or
Send the documents in email.

I will try sending in email first then.

thank you once again.
