You need a single PCC.

thank you very much... one more question both husband and wife has to apply for pcc for UK separately and do they ask any address proof of where we stayed in Uk

Hi All,

I have received ITA under FSW Express Entry. I have a few queries, I would be highly obliged for guiding me and advising me the best solutions before I submit my application for PR;
1. Mine and my spouse PCC for home country was issued on Feb 2016 and we have not visited home country since then, is my PCC valid for submission?
2. My spouse PCC has his old passport number on it, he has a new passport number now because his old one has expired. Is his PCC valid and can be used or I have to get it re-issued?
3. Under travel history for primary applicant, do I have to list my spouse travel history as well? Because there is a separate section for accompanying spouse with a travel history section for him.
4. Do I need to do a Canadian PCC and submit it along with my home country PCC? Because document list says PCC (multiple)

Thanks in advance,

Hello everyone.
My dad got my PCC from India. But it does not have my photo on it. So no stamped photo on it, just have the stamp on the certificate. Can I submit that one or not?

As long as it was issued after you last visited, it should be OK to submit. But it is possible that IRCC requests a new one for both of you, so if it takes a long time to get the PCCs, you might want to just apply for new ones anyway.

2. My spouse PCC has his old passport number on it, he has a new passport number now because his old one has expired. Is his PCC valid and can be used or I have to get it re-issued?

doesn't matter about the passport #

3. Under travel history for primary applicant, do I have to list my spouse travel history as well? Because there is a separate section for accompanying spouse with a travel history section for him.

You each need to complete a separate travel history.

4. Do I need to do a Canadian PCC and submit it along with my home country PCC? Because document list says PCC (multiple)

You do not need the Canadian PCC. It says "PCC (multiple)" because you have to submit PCCs for every country you have lived in (since the age of 18) for at least 6 months (excluding Canada). Many, if not most, have lived in more than one country. If you have only ever lived in your home country and Canada, then you only need one PCC.

Thanks Jes_ON for the prompt reply. But the travel history question says, " Do you or your family members have any travel history? If yes, please list all". So does that mean that I have to list me spouse travel history also? He is mentioning his travel history in his section, but I am not sure about my part.

Thanks,

If there is a facility to send both applications together, then you can send it. You do not need to show any address proof of UK. Only need to mention all the addresses where you stayed in UK.

Hello Members,

My passport has my permanent address say X and i got it from PSK of Y city, as X does not have a PSK center.
Now my current address is Z and ofcourse my passport does not have details of Z address on it. All these cities are in the same state in India.

Where should I get PCC from Y or Z?

I hear from other folks, that for getting PCC the current address has be to mentioned in the passport, it this true? Does this mean that I will have to get my passport renewed with current address.

Also is it required to get PCC from PSK only or it can be availed from Police Station also.

Please advice for the above query.

Thanks,
Nisha

Hi Nisha,

Did you get the clarification? Going by the reports on this forum, you may need to get the passport renewed. However, there is no such notification on psk website yet. I got the pcc done for my wife 5 months back. Now i need to get it done again next week. While i have the current address on my passport, she does not have the same address mentioned on her passport. I am hoping that since pcc was done in the last six months, we may not need to renew her passport. I would post update next week when i apply for pcc from psk.

In India, do we need a different PCC from each state we have lived in or just one is enough?

One PCC for one country. This question has been asked atleast a hundred times and even answered atleast 150 times.
Apply for your Indian PCC at your nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).

Hi All,

I understand that we do not need to do PCC for Canada, but could be asked for one later. So can anyone tell what are the chances that I would be asked to do one? And would it be better if I submit PCC from Canada while submitting my application because anyways I have to do it later and I don't want my PR to get delayed because of the Canadian PCC. Please advice. Thanks.

You don't need one, if they need to check they will do it by themselves

Hi
For UK PCC Can we track the status of the application or do they send an email once its processed and ready to send by post.
I applied mine under standard category so I understand it will take a bit longer. But my husband applied under premium category but there has been no update for him as well. :( :( :( :(
