Police Clearance after PR Visa

Dear all,

I recently got my PR/Canadian Experience Class submission approved, and I would like to know if I need to get a new police clearance certificate before departing to Canada ?
I'm asking this because I lived in another country more than 4 months since I applied to PR.

I'm having hard times finding an answer of this question.
