Well, today I called the embassy and pretty much told me to send the papers to the Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra address and that they will do the rest. So there they go my precious papers on an epic adventure. I will update as soon as I have some info, so cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Thanks so much for all the help, this forum is so amazing, I think we wouldn't be able to be as prepared if it wasn't for all of you.

Hello guys

Today I called the PGR and asked to be directed to the department in charge of cerdiciado antecedentss catastrales.

I spoke with A lady there and she told me that they don't do that through any embassy that they have told a lot of people , many times that it's a personal matter and only persons of family members will be issued this document . She was quite emphatic about this and I repeated my self many times .

I also called the embassy of Canada in Mexico to confirm this but they told me to direct myself to I migraine section and only by email as they don't take phone calls

It
Is so frustrating !!!

Has ANYONE RECEIVED ANY NEWS ON
This recently ????

Well, as I said before, I did called the embassy today and they told me they will do the documents as soon as I send the documentation they requested, they gave me the address and an email. I didn't called PGR since it seems there is a lot of weird info moving around and it kinda makes this process a living hell. All the info I found tells me to go to cic and practically follow the instructions. Even the embassy of Mexico in Canada send you to the cic page. I did read the PGR requirements and they indeed ask for several other documentation, but I remember I read here someone telling that there was some kind of diplomatical issue that was just resolved between PGR and the Canadian Embassy. Still the process of sending the papers to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico is the one I was told to follow by the same embassy. If I need later on for the papers to be picked up by a family member I guess I will need to send them a "carta poder".
Also, I did have some help from a immigration counselor, she has been the one coaching me with some of the questions I had in the past, and just today she told me to follow the instructions on the cic website... she said also that if they not only asked for the federal police records but also the "estatales" then I have to send a family member to get them with the all mighty carta poder!!!
So, I guess they only asked for the first ones since that is what we received on the email we got from cic, but if they need anything else they will let us know for sure.

If anyone was successfull while doing this it will be great to know if we are on the right track, I do know some people that did this 2 or three years ago and they did ended sending family members to pick up the papers... So I guess I will wait a couple of weeks and if I see nothing happening I will contact them to ask what is going on.

Awe.. you are awesome!!! Now... the wait shall start!!! ;D

Artecita! You need to have lots of patience, as you I did all what you have done, I called PGR, embassy, sent lots of emails and everyone tell you one thing or other but at the same time I learn we need to wait for the results trough the Mexican embassy, if the CIC website give us those instructions and we followed we are ok.
You just sent your documents you will need to wait patiently!

For me and other three people that I have contact with, we still waiting and it's already moré than 4 months. We sent our documents in January or beginning of February.

And more than a year since we apply! So I guess we need to wait.

Everyone Please keep us posted if you receive news, I just asked Mexico what is going on and I'm still waiting for an answer.

Dear Banchos,
I think you are completely right, I was confused when I was told about the federal and state police records and I was wonderig if they were both requested since they PGR website is linked in the cic page, still it says "aditional information", it is almost like they are playing mind games with us hahaha. I will keep posting any news I have. Thanks so much for being so awesome.

Did anyone got reply from cic Mexico? I have sent an email on last friday asking about pcc status n this situation between pgr n cic, still waiting for their response.

God help me in waiting..!!

They did reply a coupe of times and I asked them to send me the request Letter so I can do it myself through a relative or friend ... They sent it within 3 days .

I'm
Gonna take my chances and do the request to the PGR and send it to Nova Scotia CiC.

Hope it works and saves some time .. I honestly don't feel like waiting for the PGR to fix their drama with the embassy

Thats great...at least you have somebody there who can help you.
I am totally stuck. Dont know what to do? I dont have friends or relatives there.
I dont know how to move ahead.

Any help is appreciated

I got a reply from Mexico and they sent me the same email they sent me 2 months ago, the same words and everything, I feel like just a machine is answering our mails and no one tells you where our documents are or when we can have and answer.

4.5 months and still waiting.

Good to know they give to mtymexmontreal the letter please keep us posted How things end or maybe we should do the same!

I send a letter to Ottawa and got this response, it seems they have asked for both State and Federal to other applicants, but seems mine it is just the FPC at the moment. I also send a letter to Mexico to see if they need any other documentation since ofc they didn't let me know they received my papers, so I will wait for that response.

This is the response I got from CIC:

I will ask for info about my application in a couple of weeks in case I need to do it myself.

I've also read horror histories about PGR losing or misplacing documentation and there is simply no way to know what is happening down there, but it took my attention the fact that I haven't find anybody that already did the process this way and it is supposed to be the correct way, it was driving me crazy... So I will wait till the end of the month and send them a letter so see how my FPC is doing, If I see nothing is happening then I will request the letter to the embassy and send some family member to do the paperwork :(

Meanwhile I am on the hunting of Mexicans that already passed this test so I can at least learn how they managed to do it!!!!

Hey Guys,

I have found this info that there are some agents who process Mexican Police certificates on behalf of us.
Please go through this website

http://www.infocubic.net/international/mexico.asp

I hope this can help us.
Anybody has an Idea about such agents? I have not got any response from CIC mexico. I think I should try this agent. I guess this is the only option I have.

What say guys?

Thanks
