Thanks Melbot! yes, the processing times are much better now.

Yes, upload a "Letter of Explanation" to the system saying when you applied for the PCC. Attach the proof of delivery and correspondence you had with the embassy. That way you are letting them know that you have the certificates now.

La semana pasada mande los documentos a la embajada de Canada en Mexico para lo del Police Certificate pero me mandaron un email diciendo que me regresaron los documentos por que estan incompletos... me podrias decir exactamente como los mandaste para ver que fue lo que hice mal . Yo tramite mi PCC hace relativamente poco y deje de seguir el thread; si tienen preguntas yo puedo intentar responderlas. Ya habilite las notificaciones a replies.

Hola yo envie:
1. las huellas digitales tomadas por la policia en Canada 2 juegos en original
2. las fotografias tamaño pasaporte 3 de frente
3 las fotografias tamaño pasaporte 3 de lado derecho
4. copia de la hoja del pasaporte donde aparece la foto
5. una carta solicitando el servicio con los datos personales: nombre, domicilio completo en Canada, lugar de nacimiento, numero UCI, numero de expediente, nombre y lugar de la oficina de inmigracion de Canada en donde se esta realizando el tramite (Sydney BC)

En la pagina del cic pide:

Two sets of original fingerprints that meet these standards:
rolled and flat impressions of all ten fingers taken with black ink
full name, date of birth and sex of the applicant
the name and address of the police agency where the fingerprints were taken
the signature of the officer taking the fingerprints and the client’s signature
Note: Please make sure the name on fingerprint forms is the same as the one in the passport bio-page or photo ID. Fingerprint forms should not have anything crossed out or amendments.

To have your fingerprints taken:

In Canada: Contact a fingerprinting agency, or visit your local police station.
In any other country: Visit your local police station. In some countries the Mexican Embassy or Consulate will be able to assist you.
Three passport-size (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm) photographs of front profile (no makeup, earrings, glasses, or facial hair – no exceptions)
Three passport-size (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm) photographs of right profile (no makeup, earrings, glasses, or facial hair – no exceptions)
One clear, legible copy of your passport bio-page (with your picture and full name)
Quote your file number, name of visa office, Canadian embassy or consulate or Case Processing Centre where your file is being processed, your full name and date of birth.
Note: You do not need to send any other documents or to provide any payments.

Hola muxican, yo estoy en proceso de aplicar para el PR. Los la constancia de datos registrales se manda hasta despues de enviar la aplicacion verdad? Una vez que la piden.. incluso si se hara el proceso directamente con la PGR a traves de un familiar?

Podrían decirme cómo saben la fecha en que la embajada envía los documentos a la PGR?
La embajada les envió un email? o ustedes contactaron a la embajada o a la PGR para conocer esta fecha?

Es necesario informar a CIC que ya envié los documentos a la embajada de Canadá en México? si es así, cómo puedo informarle?

Me preocupa porque CIC nos da 60 días para enviar la constancia de antecedentes registrales, pero ese trámite podría llevarse más tiempo.

How are people obtaining carta de poder for purposes of getting the certificate from outside of Mexico? is it through the Mexico embassies/consulates?
