I submitted my application to CIO in Nov 2010. I did not submit police certificate from FBI at that time. I have not been asked to submit police certificate but I have tried to obtain this in case they ask me for this. I submitted the application for police certificate 3 times and my finger prints were rejected. This is the way my finger prints are and cannot be obtained better than I have tried before. I called FBI office and they mentioned that they cannot do any thing without finger prints. Please guide if some of you have any other idea and how I can get police certificate (in the US).
My application status is: “received by the visa office”. I am not sure it is in Buffalo or in Detroit? There is no change in this status since Feb 2011.
Please guide.

Thank you.

Please contact the US embassy in your city. They might have a fix for this..(they usually do)
Did u get the fingerprints done from a forensic/fingerprint expert?

If you are in the US...then either go to the local law enforcement agency or to a professional finger printing agency...there are quite a few in the US...

Thank you both for your advice. I really appreciate this.

I am in the US and working here, I had finger prints done from professional and also local police office, but FBI did not accept this. Not sure what to do???

Any other toughts?

Thank you!

If you're in Philadelphia, check this
http://www.4adoption.com/#SlideFrame_1

If you're not in Philly, I'd say get it done agian at any Law Enforcement Agancy and send it. It could have been some issue with the printing last time.

Good luck,

Hi SGPA,

may I know how did you find out that your finger print application was rejected by FBI? Did they email you or call you? May I suggest that if things come to the worst, go to FBI office directly and get your finger print from them.

Regards,

Newborn
