I have received ITA very recently and in the process of gathering documents.
I have an appointment with PSK at Chennai on Monday and I have recently moved to USA after marriage ( April 2019 - June 2019). The address on the passport is of Chennai address and I have given the same as the present address in the PCC form as well. Currently I moved back to India for two months of visit and to process PCC and other medical check.

Will living in USA for past two months be an issue in PCC process? Should I provide my USA address as my current address? I have stayed in the address mentioned in the passport for more than 10 yrs.

What matters is where you are going to be when you submit your application

If its India.......No, it won't be an issue. You should only give your Indian (Chennai) address for PSK appointments made in India.

If its USA, submit a PCC issued by a local/nearest Indian embassy. again you should be physically present in USA and on a valid visa to get one

Hi ...

I received my PCC from PSK Chennai. It says " Residence Permit for Canada". Is the right option or "Immigration purpose other than Citizenship" is the right option ? Should I get a new one then?
