I am not sure you need one now. Just wait for the request and then get it as some people are telling me that the 6 month rule does not apply for Canada anymore because they are doing their own internal searches. The report cost us over $100 after the digitizing process, so if you may not need it, wait and see if you get a request first. For many, it comes around the time Schedule A is requested.

Did you get a request with your Schedule A request to submit reports for countries you resided in for 6 months or more consecutively? If not, they sometimes send it at a later date. We didn't get this request but at our VO, it seems that you get the request later or not at all. If it didn't say anything like this with your Schedule A request, then wait.
