i have a strange timeline dear :) i got my AOR in march 2013 from LVO then dare was a strike and after strike when i mailed them in october to know the status of my file, they mailed me back tht due to overload they transferred my file to ADVO and from now i shud ask ADVO for further details abt my file.......i was shocked n really dnt know y it happened but then in first week of nov i got a mail for updated forms and after 5 days when i send them the forms they send me medicals the very next day............

in general its my observation abt ADVO tht in abt 4-6 months u got ur medicals after AOR

As per my knowledge, under PNP programs officer send medical request as soon as possible, provided application is complete.

Please refer below extract from OP 7b.

7.6. Processing the application

When a visa office receives a certificate of nomination under the provincial nominee class, the officer should proceed to issue medical instructions and carry out normal security screening procedures as soon as possible, provided a complete application has been received.

Very useful insight into the PNP application processing. cheers

oh ok IC....so whats the timeline (this forum observation) from medicals to PPR for Ontario

Its difficult to estimate an average timeline on this forum but if you look at trackitt, you will find that presently visa offices around the world are issuing PPR for PNP applicants who did medicals in July'13. This implies a six month period between MR and PPR at the moment.

im same timeline as you.. still no meds.

what is your ecas status?

Lemans,

My ecas status still says 'application received'.

Today I received an email from ADVO asking me and my spouse to submit a 'Certificate of No Marriage' (CENOMAR) from the National Statistics Office. As far as I know CENOMAR is only issued to single individuals to verify their singleness. But in our case, we are married and have submitted our marriage certificate as part of the requirement so I am confused that they are asking for a Certificate of No Marriage. Has anyone ever encountered the same? Kindly enlighten me.

ADVO has requested the same to PHOEM(kabayan), check with her or go back to page 198 of this forum, this may enlighten you.

i didn't encounter that one. we've been marriage 4 years ago in dubai consulate, i've submitted both marriage certificate from pcg dubai as well as marriage certificate from nso.

Hi Lemans,
My friend who is now in Winnipeg had the same case as yours. He said ADVO asked him to send them the “Advisory on Marriages” or certificate of singleness that can get from NSO and he sent their marriage certificate again. So my advice is you send them your marriage certificate once again. I also had the same case though it’s not a marriage cert – they asked me to send my NBI clearance, wherein I sent it to them already together with my husband’s --- So, I did send mine again and it works. After a few months they get back to us asking for our passports and ta-daaaa---got our visas after 10 working days!

Recently I have pulled out CAIPS notes, and realized that visa officer has reviewed my Linkedin profile and mentioned profile link in their notes.

So my suggestion is that please keep maintain your profile properly and don’t mention any wrong information. It should also follow for other social (like Facebook) or professional sites.
