Even you can call your doctor and asked them when did they send it.

Hi,

Where did you apply for work permit and how much time does it take? If possible please share the steps to apply work permit.

Hi everyone...

Goodmorning..

I just need some opinion.. its been 2 months (last feb 2,2014) since our e-CAS status changed to "Medical Results Received" and after that no development. Should I get worried or it's still early to be.
I read some of us here received PPR after a month.. some even a week..

Thanks alot.. any opinion will be greatly appreciated.
have a nice day and goodluck to all of us. :)

when i check the status online.it shows only for the 'principal applicant's status' and
for the depending family members,it dont show anything.

it happens with every1 or something to b worried abt?

i dont know what it takes to have PR arrived in a week or month:)
but usallay 6 to 12 months it takes before the medical expires

good luck!!

me too i don't know why some received PPR just one week after VO received their Med result..(maybe they are just lucky :) ) but the usual is after 4-6 months.. so iguess we are still good..
:D

NiqNok13

so do know abt status of principal applicant nd dependent shown differently or in the same manner?

NiqNok13

yup we r still good n pretty much in the same boat so just hang in there :)

@ zig321 – no need to worry about the status of dependents. The online status shows something similar for all of us. If the visa office needs any specific additional or missing info for a dependent, they will let you know accordingly.
@ NiqNok13 – yes, it usually takes 4-6 months from MR to receive PPR. I think this is most likely the case if the visa office has asked for some additional documents (like updated police clearance/forms etc) which will need to be evaluated. I think background checks to be done by the visa office based on the police clearance submitted take the most time especially for persons who have lived in several countries or travel frequently or originally belong to certain countries. Some people have got PPR in shorter time which could be due to plain and simple luck or the background checks were done faster or earlier. I guess you still have to wait a couple more months to hear back from ADVO. The medical test results are valid for 12 months and the VO tries to process the case within this period otherwise they will have to ask for fresh medical tests. the good thing is you've had your medical as some applicants on this forum have been waiting for MR for quite sometime for reasons unknown.

THANKU LAWRENCE

WE SUBMTTED OUR MEDICAL IN SEPT 2013.FINGERS CROSSED
OUR TIMING S QUITE SIMILAR

you are welcome. its nice to know that i'm not the only one with medical in Aug/Sep who has'nt heard back from ADVO. there are others like you and aashamsi :). so, keep the faith.
