Hi, unlike Medicals, Biometrics cannot be done upfront. An applicant has to wait for IRCC to send an official Biometrics Collection Letter and the letter will include applicant's name, UCI, Application number with instructions on how to get Biometrics done. I remember when I did mine recently at a Service Canada office, the agent gave me a Reference number and asked me to keep it safely in case IRCC may ask for it. If I may ask, where you given a number when you did yours. It is strange if IRCC cannot locate your Biometrics, as you know these are valid for 10 years. If an applicant is outside Canada, like in your case, you would do yours at a VAC centre, while if on Canadian soil, it is done at Service Canada. In case you did your Biometrics at VAC Centre, I suggest you contact them, I am sure they will be having your records on file. The fact that you had already done your Biometrics, you should be able to view your Biometrics information in your GC Key account.Hello my fellow colleagues in the forum, I do need an advise from you.
How does a biometric enrollment letter looks like and has anyone the biometric upfront, IRCC could not locate my previous Biometric dome while I came in as a student, so I have to do another with my family.
I need to do another in the UK
If you applied for PR under EE Skilled Worker streams, then you would click on Application for PR - Federal Skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia. However, if you applied through Paper Based, then select Application for PR.on ecas which link to need to click application for permanent residence in canada or application for permanent residence for outside canda nova scotia sydney both are showing under the table
thnkuii but in paper based application once you got your AOR then application work as an online application then no more paper based.. so it means it shows on my application nova scotia and says eligibility review is completed and visa office completed eligibility review completed.. so thats correctIf you applied for PR under EE Skilled Worker streams, then you would click on Application for PR - Federal Skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia. However, if you applied through Paper Based, then select Application for PR.
For the 3rd option, I am not sure, but I think that if an applicant has applied outside Canada (and not via EE), select Application for PR outside Canada.
My assumption is when an applicant applies via EE irrespective of whether they are in Canada or outside Canada, the application goes directly to Nova Scotia as these are online applications.
I did mine at YYZ Airport when I was issued my study permit in 2017 but they seems not to locate itHi, unlike Medicals, Biometrics cannot be done upfront. I am sure there must be a way of IRCC retrieving your Biometrics. IRCC stores all our immigration records as per our UCI and I am really surprised that they do not have this information in your file. I am assuming you contacted IRCC via Webform and they advised you that they do not have it? If you have to do another then they will definitely send you a Biometrics Collection Letter.I did mine at YYZ Airport when I was issued my study permit in 2017 but they seems not to locate it
You could be right. I am paper based and do click on Application for Permanent Residency and can see my information. I have never tried the other two links.thnkuii but in paper based application once you got your AOR then application work as an online application then no more paper based.. so it means it shows on my application nova scotia and says eligibility review is completed and visa office completed eligibility review completed.. so thats correct

If you given/provide biometrics before in any manner with Canadian immigration department you can search on their website, you just need your passport number and date of birth for that.I am sure there must be a way of IRCC retrieving your Biometrics.
