The agent mentioned the delay for certain PNP applicants? I am from Ontario, submitted on September 30th 2016.
I thought that it is weird that she mentioned that. But i think what she meant is how the 16-month process became an 18month process. I think that's the delay she mentioned. interesting how she used "delay" when she could just say "processing time". :P

It is a frustrating process and unbelievably slow. People's freedom to move jobs is restricted for 2-3 years because of this. I just lost two job offers because I can't confirm I have my PR yet: I got the jobs, but the minute the hiring committees knew I am on work permit expiring in 4 months, they retracted the offers. I mean I am still lucky I have a job for the coming 4 months, but if I don't secure another one, it means I might have a few months of no work.

Oct. 27 applicant here, my medicals got extended for one full year last month, and agents say you still got a few weeks for the 18 months "suggested" processing time! As if our life can just be simply put on hold.

Hello! Anyone here who is Oct 2016 applicant and is still waiting?

I'm also waiting and called CIC yesterday they just told me I'm not over 18months yet...that's all I got from them after waiting for almost 40minutes...

I hear you.

Do you have a representative? if you do, then you can't link.
Yes,I have a representative.
But i was linked my PR application to my cic account since i submitted my application.
My representative is a lawyer, he is too busy to care of this kind of things.

Same here, can't change the job, contacted the OINP office, they said, they will withdraw my nominee if I change my employer.
This is the modern slavery.
