20 months today !just talked with agent he said so many files stuck at security verification.reason is security verification is done by some third agency not by cic. And they have a lot of files . He said wait till September and call back if nothing happens.

I called today and was told my case has been marked as complex and when i asked why and what does that mean they said no idea it just means there is no fixed prcessing date

that what they told me for my application am dec 08 applicant am my file transfered to edmonton visa office for additional verfication and processing time in edmonton office is 6months

How did you find that out for your office im in Montreal for additional verificastion and cannot find anthing on processing times for that office

I called IRCC today and they said my file is in additional verification at Edmonton VO so it will come back to us in November

When u applied? Outland or inland? Usually they extand for inlanders.
