PNP PR May,2015 Applicant

I want this process to end already. Coming close to the 10 month mark since I sent my application as an inland applicant (May 19).

CIC call centres hardly ever answer my phone calls. I have a doubt guys. They requested my ORIGINAL police certificates (which I had already sent I'm sure, dont know what they did with them) on Feb 16. I had extra copies of the originals, so I uploaded those via the Case Specific Enquiry form the same day. Feb 19 I got an email saying they were received and attached to my application, and that if further information was needed, I would be contacted. I still haven't been contacted. The police certificates were emotted Feb 24, 2015 which I understand were still be valid till Feb 24, 2016. I have two immigration lawyers who are personal friends. One told me they should be fine, the other said I should send in new ones. Not sure how to proceed. Just don't want to create more delays on my file.

Any thoughts anyone?

Its tricky situation. But I see that it wont delay either way.
1. They asked originals. 2. You sent via cse. 3. They acknowledged cse.
But we dont know if the processing cse is done by some other team other than the case officer.(possibility)
So for the safer side and to avoid more delays i think its better to send it sooner than later.
Also if you send it now it will be processed in a month and anyway our turn will be after a month (for majority of May applicants). So its ok i guess.
(i know that you are expecting ppr next month but my estimation is little late but its cic which always surprises us :-\)

You can also think about this:
What if they were actually expecting originals as it was specifically requested as they know that they sent you reminder email on asking for the same via cse.
What if they wanted it surely and asking for it next month? This will delay more.

I dont want to give you comfort words on telling that we will get ppr in a month and the pcc sent via cse is enough as we dont want to take chances when we can easily provide them what they wanted without problem. This is to think through the effect of the move which is being taken.

They just might. I know a case where they checked and the guy did not and did not get his pr

that happened also with my friend in Edmonton. he was at the end of application for ppr. and was fired . after that he received mail that his application is not approved becouse of that.

I heard that if someone informs cic then only cic takes action or else it gets approved.

Just like Mohan mentioned above, I have heard the same thing. If you dont tell anything, it gets approved. They don't poke into things until and unless you bring it up. Also at the border, they don't ask to show your employment status. You can ask all the guys that have done landing at the border. So it's your call.

Anoop just keep quite and wait for your PR, Cic don't hv time for that unless until you raise the issue on their table.

Hi Friends

I got reminder email today for missing documents and RPRF.

I am 31st July Applicant with one dependent.

Paid the RPRF fees and sent the receipt though Case Specific Inquiry.

Now I just need to send PCC for my wife.

That I also I can send though CSE as it is mentioned in the email.

Hi As far as I know, the response you get soon after sending case specific inquiry is automated.
But after that some officer takes a look at the inquiry and attach the document to your file after that you get following response from CIC
" Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).



We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application.

If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Please visit the online Help Centre or our website for further information. You can search by typing keywords.

As far as I know that the confirmation that they have received your document and attached to your file.

Same thing happened with me when I applied for my BOWP. I sent my AOR though case specific inquiry and I got that response after 15 days. After that I verified with CIC call center agent that the document was attached to my application.

So I think you should not worry.
