Hello everyone,

Is there someone in this forum who is from the Philippines? I just want to know the latest on your application guys. It seems applicants from the Philippines takes more time than others who are from the oth er countries.

I am from the Philippines and already done medical last January and cic request additional documents, and I already submitted it two weeks ago, already paid RPRF too.

How many months do you think guys we need to wait for decision made or PPR?

And another thing, my daughter is in the Philippines where do I need to submit her passport for visa stamping? In the Philippines visa office or here in Canada together with my passport? I would just like to know cause her passport is with her, just in case I need to send that together with mine here in Ottawa, I will ask my mother to send it here ASAP.

Please advice.

Thank you all. :)

1. As for digital print, did you mean fingerprint scan by scanner and then print it to the fingerprint card? I guess this is the best way which avoids the messy of ink or inkless.

2. I was trying to buy that Lee ink, but looks like you shared a very useful experience. I will go station tomorrow, hopefully they would have that advance scanner tech.
1. Yes, its the digital scanning of prints and getting it printed on the card. But make sure you can visibly see good amount of prints are recorded. If not get few more and send the good ones.
2. Not sure if its available at store but please give it a try.

I am not Philippino but my VO is Manila. I have been waiting for almost 4 months since completing MR, RPRF, etc. So, no idea about processing time at Manila VO now.

Regarding your daughter's passport, I learn from other threads that you can send a request to CIC to change the destination of the passport to the place that is most convenient for your daughter's submission

Help please!

I got an email from CIO Sydney today saying they need my ORIGINAL police certificates from my home country, and not photocopies. But I know for sure I sent original ones and got them notarized because they're not either in French or English.

Anyone know I phone number I can reach CIO and speak to an agent about my case?

Thanks in advance for the help

Hi Jimmy,
Here is the call center number which works only inland. They should be able to help. I heard that the morning hours are having very less waiting time.
888-242-2100

You can ask them to send a note to vo that you submitted originals. I am thinking you can parallely try to apply for that pcc again.

Try to call between 7-730am or 3-330pm. I have always got them during those times. Best wishes.

Quick update!

Got another email from CIC yesterday saying they received the information they needed and they have attached my documents to my application. Anyone can advise if they accepted my police certificates?

Thanks!

Every time you upload any document through CSE, you'd receive an email after approximately 10 days/2 weeks saying they have attached your documents to your application. If your documents are alright, you'd not receive any further communication. If there are any issues, only then you'd receive further emails instructing you what to do. So chill, relax and enjoy the journey. Once its over, you would not even remember these difficult times :)

best wishes.

Interestingly enough they took 3 days to send that email. Good sign I suppose.

Reason why I feel I'm such a time crunch is I bought tickets to fly out April 11. To early to determine now, but if no PPR comes through by March 23, I'll have to change my flight tickets. So naturally I'd like to avoid as many delays as possible and get informed as much as I can.
