Yes, I have applied.

Employer needs to pay $230 fee and fill out offer of employment IMM5802 and employer declaration form.

When is your work permit expiring? Did you a PNP certificate? Did you apply for PR?

Hi pretty_girl,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I asked the consulting companies, some said yes and some said no, which made me really confused.
My PGWP is expiring at the end of October. I have submitted the PR application under EE BC PNP on July 13. I am just thinking whether to apply the closed work permit with the PNP support letter or apply BOWP.
Could you give me some suggestion?

:)

Trying to see if cic team is working for us today to send remaining EPs so that i can refresh my inbox for more time. This is giving me new hopes :) to receive my EP today or tomorrow itself.
Is it EP or XEP?

I recevied it yesterday late evening. Its EP number.
Do you know after how many days ECAS will be activated ?

Thanks

If you are applying for BOWP then you dont need employer to pay compliance fees. That is only when you apply under LMIA exempt category.
Hope it helps

Yes, but apply the BOWP requires me to provide the 2nd AOR from CIC, which I have not received yet.

:)

What do you mean second AOR, I am aware of only one AOR.
Could you please clarify.
Cheers

I received my AOR after long wait. Good luck to everyone else on this forum.

Congratulations!! :D :)
I think I should start worrying now. I sent my application 2weeks ahead of yours but seems like the CIO must have forgotten me. :(

What mode of payment did you have?

Earlier cic used to send XEP first and then EP later hence first AOR and second AOR. But nowadays we get direct EP hence nowadays its only one.

I applied through express entry. The 2nd AOR means that CIC has examined applicant's application and confirmed that documents are complete and the applicant is eligible for the PR application.

It depends what kinda situation you are in.

1. If your employer is nice and you are happy to continue working only with him and he is willing to pay $230 fee then you can use your support letter.

2. If first case does not apply to you, then wait few more days till you get your second AOR and apply for BOWP but make sure you pay another $100 fee along with $155 application fee.

3. If you apply either for work permit extension or BOWP before your current work expires, then you are good till you get a decision on your WP application as you will be under implied status which will let you work under the same conditions of your expired work permit(will be PGWP) till CIC decides on your new application and I believe you will get your Permanent Residence by the time you'll get your new or extended work permit as CIC is taking more than 100 days these days and you will probably get it by late December even if you apply in early October.
Just in case, CIC improves its processing time, you will get your work permit early (which is good) otherwise you will get your PR under EE by December anyways and can withdraw your work permit application and save your money for something better :P :) :)

Hope it makes sense to you. :)

I have my application currently in process. i got my EP/UCI number August 04 2015 :).. I did not send my "Right of Permanent Resident Fee" with my application upfront ::). Does it make sense to send it now? (before Medical Request ). Would that save some time?

Got EP Today !
