Hi Everyone,


Congrats to those whose are getting their AORs. Good to hear some great news finally.

I just have a question here related to my PR application that I sent on June 10th.

I came in Canada as a student and when my consultant applied for my study permit he filled out some information wrong (DOB of my parents and sister) on additional family information form .

But, when I apply for my PR, I filled out the right information as per my parents' and sister's legal documents.


Will it cause any trouble for me or delay in my application that my additional family information forms do not match (comparing study permit one with PR)?

Should I explain CIC about this?

Any help or advice will be highly appreciated

Hi,
I think every application has its own forms and documents and CIC won't compare your old application's documents with the new one. All of your applications are connected with each other with your UCI number BUT they won't refer to those information because they are belong to a finished and old application. I think you are in a safe side but you must prepare yourself for any question concern this matter in they future and if they ask you about that then you can explain to them it was not your fault!

Every week the gap widens on issuing EPs. In the last 2 weeks its dead slow. Hoping that it wont extend for another week.

Mohan, it is very soon think about next week! Still 3 days remain for current week: Thursday(Today is not finished yet!) , Friday & Saturday( CIO works on Saturdays too!) ;D

Thanks Victor. Gave me little hope for this week. Yes its coming today only . Due to this delay, CIC is considering to allocate my file to the fastest visa office - Manila or Paris. ;D

Hi,

I applied for PR on 17th June 2015 under AINP program. Till the date i did not receive any response from CIC and not even received notification. Yes, i checked by post traking that application is received on june 19, 2015.

I dont know what should I do then?
