Saskatchewan will be better as it has the lowest unemployment rate in canada. Currently it's economy is growing rapidly & job market is expanding a lot. A better province to be settled down and raise future generation. :)

This is a big misconception about CSE jobs in smaller Canadian markets,.. I work in Winnipeg in software field , there are tons of opportunities with mid size companies and the Govt. The compensations will not be in the same as it is Toronto or Vancouver, then again the cost of living is also lower. If you are skilled programmer there are good number of jobs in Winnipeg. Skilled being the keyword, as I have come to see a lot of developers coming in from sub continent with really no real skills. As the job security here is directly proportional to how valuable you are to the company !

Are you getting or can you get job offers from both the provinces?

Hi - King of Good Times

Are you an inland applicant? When did you apply for your PR? Can we do upfront medicals under PR - PNP Nominee category?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes I am a inland applicant , I just took a chance with upfront. I had express entry invitation. So had to do a medical for that , so submitted the same one for my PNP. I read in few cases in this forum that it shouldn't be a problem as its valid for an year.

I couldn't however go ahead with my express entry as I made a minor error in my profile ,so withdrew it and recreated , now waiting to be invited again.

Oh ok. I am pnp approved nominee and applied for PR under nominee category. I phoned Winnipeg doctors to get an upfront medical done but they ask for a letter from CIC requesting to get it done.

Just say you don't have one , yet you still need to do a medical for cic upfront.
That's what I did , they will still give a form with an unique number using which cic would be able to pull your medical file.

Ohkk. Did you get it done here in Winnipeg? Which doctor did you go to?

That's a wonderful news. As there's no more paper base FSWP/PNP application and thus, hopefully the AOR processing time would decrease significantly. I am looking forward for your AOR mate. Infact I want you to be with me in New Years holiday :P :P Best of luck.
