Thanks

Dear friends,
I have the following problem, I received my medical request in January 2017 and nothing after it. On March 1st I ordered GCMS notes for understanding my status and I was surprised to see today that visa office sent me a letter on January 25, 2017, which I haven't received. According to CIC website I should receive all correspondence through my CIC account, but there is no any such kind of message.
Please advise anyone experienced the same and what you did?
Thanks

Hello,

Any medical request for July, Aug, Sep applicant?

I saw people who applied in 2017 already started getting their AOR in about 45days.....it looks like cic has started working little fast.

hopefully they will finish our application in a year.

thanks

Hi,
Please advise how long I should wait for receiving a reply for reported technical issue related to my CIC account.

They will get back usually with 7-10 days. That is what I have experienced twice.

Hi, please advise whether it is better to wait 7-10 day or to write one more time after 3-4 days? How was your experience?
I noticed, that you had the same issue "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check" after having this message for long time I have ordered GCMS notes and noticed that they requested police certificate from me, but there is no such kind of letter in my cic account. Have you the same problem or other and if the same how it was solved?
Thanks

I think they give a 6 months visa. Could be wrong. Not 100% sure but this is what I have heard.

I think it is better to wait and see what their response is before you send another as that is what I did. Well the initial issue I faced was my cic account would never show my application status. It would always say application status unavailable. This happened for almost 2 months till I sent a technical difficulty issue. I got a response in about 9 days, with a list of things to try to get it working. Nothing worked so i had to register another technical difficulty issue. This time the response came back in about 2 weeks with a somewhat more personal response saying they are looking into the matter with the responsible office and trying to figure out the issue and will inform me of the same. A week or so post this i am now able to access my cic application status but yes my BG check has never changed since I have been able to access my app status. And just 2 weeks ago cic sent me another mail saying they are looking into the matter and will revert back to me when they know more.
So i now know there are quite a few glitches in the system. And another person on another forum stated just yesterday that they received their PPR mail but BG check never changed at all untill after he received the PPR mail so clearly there are issues.
Have you not registered your email id with cic? I am one of those people who never recieves messages through my cic account. I am always sent an email. Thankful for that as clearly with the glitches in the CIC system I can't trust to receive anything through the account.
Hope this helped a bit.

I asked a similar question to a member on another forum who had received their PPR and they told me that

You have 1 year from the date of your medical expiry. Ex. If your medical was completed 11 Nov 2016, you have until 10 Nov 2017.

Yes this is correct information but note that medical is considered from date it is submitted to CIC not done. For ex. if medical examination is conducted on 15th March 2017 but for some reason doctor submit it to CIC on 5th April 2017 then you have until 4th April 2018.

The above information is based on my COPR.

You must land before your one year medical validity expired. That's why is not good to do upfront medical as you might not have enough time to prepare for landing or might be ask to do another medical if the expiry date is close.

Hi Guys, can I ask something. I forwarded my application last August 2016, waited for 7 months for AOR but I haven't received one. My relatives followed-up my application to CIC and said that it was returned las October 2016 as incomplete (signature). But until now I haven't received it.

Last week my relatives in Manitoba asked again what can I do and advised me to ask for an extention of my nomination (expiration: November 26, 2016) and tell them the reason. So I emailed the MPNP and here's what they said:

Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that when requesting for an extension of approval letter, MPNP requires a copy of the letter from IRCC or any proof that the application package was returned and confirmation that your application package is now complete and ready to resubmit.

Sincerely,

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

Department of Education and Training

I would like to ask what does they mean "confirmation that your application package is now complete and ready to resubmit. "

is it the new application I will send to CIC?

thank you.

I think your packet has lost. They send it by ordinary post. So it is possible. Now you request them though case specific inquiry about covering letter . Which they enclosed with yo CSE returned application mentioning reason. That letter is sufficient for applying extension. Have u linked online your old application? That case u can raise CSE only. Cause u know your application number , which is necessary for CSE.
