Still background check is in process n CIC. do you guys have any idea about when will back ground process changed to Not needed at this time. How long usually Take? Is it good idea to do upfront medical to save sometime?

Doing upfront Medical has no effect on your application. Otherwise a lot of people would be doing the same thing to just process faster. MR is usually takes 6 months to a year. And if you do decide to do upfront, just letting you know that Medicals are valid for a year.

I already requested two times GCMS Notes. is it any problem if I request one or two times More to see my back ground check is done or not yet. ?According to CIC online, BG is still in Process.

Nomination from Saskatchewan September 27, 2016.

File sent to Nova Scotia Canada on October 15, 2016.

CIC received file October 24, 2016.

Got AOR from Canada CIC on January 11, 2017.

Background checks in progress February 02, 2017.

Got medical + rprf + bio page of passport February 14, 2017.

Medical passed February 22, 2017 and documents sent to London which were received by them on February 28, 2017.

Background checks were not applicable on April 03, 2017 and after three days turn again into progress on April 06, 2017.

Received reply of an email sent to London office about my file on April 07, 2017 stating " you will be contacted in coming days with instruction for next step to process your permanent resident application"

Still waiting for next step...

My GCKey account has now updated my BG check to "In Process". And I would not have thought to check it(constantly checking with no change was too disappointing so had stopped my daily checks) if I had not come across similar timeline people who stated their BG checks had changed as well.
In turn checked my ecas status and it has changed to "Decision Made". What does this mean? How much of a time difference can anyone recommend from DM and BG check in process to recieving PPR mail.?? Any insight would be appreciated.

CIC ASKED ME FOR POLICE CLEARANCE FOR ME AND SPOUSE ON DEC 15 2016.
ALL HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED NOW WE JUST WATING FOR CIC TO ASK US TO GIVE MEDICALS. MY FILE IS JUST NORMAL .PNP HAD NO EXPRESS ENTRY.
COULD ANY1 TELL ME HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR DEM TO ASK US AND AFTER THAT HOW LONG WILL THEY TAKE TO GIVE US PASSPORT REQUEST.?
