Did upfront medicals on April 4 without waiting to be requested them. On May 12 both CAS and myCIC were updated, showing medicals as "passed" (myCIC) and "received" (CAS). Now waiting for background check to change to "In Process".

Could you share your timeline ? And can you tell me how to do upfront medicals?

As for my timeline, please see my profile by clicking on 'Click to Expand' at the bottom left of any of my messages. As for the upfront medicals, I just went to one of the doctors from the CIC Panel here in Calgary. I told the doctor that I was a provincial nominee and that I was doing upfront medicals. Mind you that I contacted other doctor that would not do upfront medicals for provincial nominees. Once I was medical examined, the doctor gave me some sheets with instructions to upload them to CIC via CSE.

I received AOR on Dec 2016 and application was received in Aug 2016.

As per forum, there are many waiting for medical since March 2016. I wonder when will I get my medical request.

Don't worry I got the same situation. They asked for additional docs in Feb I gave it to them and no update. I called them 3 times they confirmed that all documents were received and said wait officer will get back to you. Status "We need additional documents..." still hanging in my account. Since that still no updates .

Yeah, same here. Sometime in the last weeks, the 'Review of additional documents' changed from 'Not needed at this time' (or something like that) to the same message of yours ('We need additional documents...') even though I had submitted said documents months ago. In fact, they appear as provided in the GCMS Notes I just received.

I think it is a system bug and would not worry.

Didnt order gcms notes. But havnt heard anything from cic since i got my application number.
Any idea if early july applicants getting thr medicals?

September 12th Applicant. No update after After 1st February. According to the latest GCMS note,

Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Medical (did upfront): Passed
Secuirity: Not started
File location: PS-

Any idea, when I might hear the next update from CIC?

And also, my passport will be expiring on May, 2018. Should I renew the passport now or wait a few more months?
