I got it by email around 11:30 pm....and yes it changed from "XEP" to "EP"

I also got an email mentioning my application has been updated and to sign into CIC account for status and messages. But it does not provide any other reference number except the application number EPxxxxxxx. Have you got the same type of email or there is a separate AOR /UCI number in your email, please clarify?

I logged in and the XEPxxxxxx has changed to EPxxxxx, no other message or information in it.

Is your email different and have AOR, UCI and EPxxxxx in it.

AOR should have EPXXXXXXX like that. And for MR it should take at few months after you receive AOR but I'm going to wait for CIC to send me MR email because I see no point of doing upfront MR and it doesn't changes anything to your application.

Yes, I have number like EPXXXXX, I will wait til I receive MR request.

But I didn't receive any e-mail shows my file number is changed.

Did you link your application to your account ? if yes then log in and see if XEPxxxxx changes to EPxxxxx

I have just received my AOR. It was sent at 8:06PM.. Surprised that CIC is working at this hour.

September 15, 2016. Received by CIC.
December 19, 2016. AOR.
