September 15, hope can receive file number in this month....

I kinda am doubtful. My application was received on September 1st. Still a long way to go. Any idea how long does it take to receive MR request after receiving AOR?

You can change if you got AOR.....just need to send ecas with updated family information

Application was received on Sept 1, 2016 by CIC. Application fee was paid ONLINE at that time.

Today I just received an email with application number in it. So can anybody tell me this is AOR or not?
And how long I should wait to get Medical request? Is it better to do the medical test before Medical Request or not?

AOR should have EPXXXXXXX like that. And for MR it should take at few months after you receive AOR but I'm going to wait for CIC to send me MR email because I see no point of doing upfront MR and it doesn't changes anything to your application.

How many people in your application? I applied with spouse, probably that will take a longer time.
