Has anyone figured out the frequency of these MR "waves"? I just know that the last one was on Oct 10, and June 12 the one before. It seems apparently they might be having this workqueue with applicants clearing criminality and eligibility and qualify for MR with Meds Pending status and they release MRs everyone who has made it to that queue at that point. That is one reason I speculate sometimes you see a batch of applicants from previous months being skipped and someone later than them receiving MR. Just my take on this situation.

One of my friend is May 2016 applicant, he went to see MP to inquire about his file but CIC told MP that file is in final stage of decision since they have to process certain number of file for each category each year thats the reason his file is delayed but he will get ppr by first week of January.

I think this information is correct because nobody is getting PPR or MR request.Any thought?

So PPR would take another 6 months after we receive our MR? That’s longer than the 16 months they've stated! I hope I pass my medical now with all this stress! Lol. August 11, 2016 applicant here, no MR as yet. Has anyone received their PR here, from file being received by CIC in 2016?
