congrats. you can call CIC and the agent can confirm if the decision is positive which probably is. usually a rejection is sent by email before changing to DM.

do you know the number that I can phone them?

I called CIC today, they said my file was transferred to Ottawa. The person said as I am from a visa exempt country I won't be getting a PPR. But can take up to 4 weeks for the letter to arrive. It's so annoying the wait

For me it all only took a short while. I'm also from a visa-exempt country so I didn't get a passport request, but I did receive a request to send copies of my passport as well as two photos. They received my docs in Ottawa on Thursday last week, and I already landed yesterday. So have your copies and photos ready so that you can send them right away once the request comes, because they might be astoundingly fast with their turnaround time like they were with me.

I am a March 18 2014 applicant but added my wife in July. They moved my received date to July 18 2014 and said that my application will be processed along July applications.
I don't have IP and my medicals have been extended until March 2016.

As for gopsgrg N me it is nova scotia
I am under the impression that even though our files got approved by nova scotia , it has not been transferred to Ottawa yet hence other people who got dm after us at ottawa office received their ppr already.
Just my speculation though

I have the same feeling...mine got DM on 20th may and call centre agent said my file is in sydney....no ppr yet....may be those file in ottawa get approved fast than sydney....

Probably it is nova Scotia , not sure though.its getting really frustrating now coz CIC agent told me decision on my file was made on may 14th but I guess it got updated late on ECAS (may 19th). I was expecting today for sure but day is already gone
