I just called CIC this afternoon. I asked the agent when I will be requested for passport, she looked into my file and said "everything looks fine but your file is still in Sydney, not transferred to Ottawa yet, the processing may take couple months! " O!M!G!

Another month for PPR???that's bad....I got the DM on the same date of yours....thought would get it this week...its frustrating...

That's what the agent said, never trust them because the actual period is always much shorter than what they said. I just don't understand why my file is not in Ottawa yet.

I was worried too, but got PPR less then 2 weeks after DM. Its different for everyone, I wouldn't worry about it

adding your spouse means new processing time. So you are feb applicant now, instead of September. I called CIC and I want to add my spouse, agent told me that I will have a new date of submission, I decided not to add my spouse yet then sponsor her later after PR.

My co worker got her PR after total of 16 months, she added her spouse in the middle of the application, on the 7th month. That time, the processing time was 17 months as well.
I am not disappointing anyone, just stating what is told by CIC and the experience of a friend.

but they have recvd my request and they havent started processing yet for my fiel .. not requested documnets. Agent told when ur file wil be transfered to ottawa and ottaw will look into it. so May be 6 months more.
same thing happen with my friend.. he added in mid of application ..
and file transfered to ottawa and within 3 month medical for her spouse and total 6 months for both of them PPR.

SO ITS NOIT LIKE when u add ur spouse it wil be counted 17 months from their.

thats true that 6 months ur process will lengthen up.. thats it.

Just call CIC and they will tell you. I got DM on May 20, the agent said file will be transferred to Ottawa for next step

I received a letter from CIO for my RPRF same day I did the payment last May 6,2015. I send a copy to CIO cost recovery with an informal letter. And I didn't fill in the data of my receipt, just my name since I save a copy when I paid. Does it matter? How long it will take to change the status in ECAS to DM? After you paid the fee?

usually you should wait for In Process ,once IP normally everyone recently are getting DM within one month and 4 days so it depends on ur file and cic.u never know when ...all the best

congrats. you can call CIC and the agent can confirm if the decision is positive which probably is. usually a rejection is sent by email before changing to DM.
