hello friends, i called CIC this morning to know my DM status ,luckily agent was really nice and friendly, she congratulated me and told me that my application is approved,it was finalized on may 14th, and informed that i will be receiving an email shortly for next step.
congrats mona. :)i got mine said its approved aswell ..ehehe. let me know when you get ppr i know i wil get along with u lol....btw i have my spouse who is outland in back home , do i have to send passport visa office in back home or here in canada ,any idea how does it works? ::)

I guess once we get our PPR we just need to email CIC back explaining our situation with all necessary info so that they can make arrangements for our outland spouse to get visa stamped at home country. U can just provide ur spouse 's email in the details so that CIC can send another similar email to them, to send PP to home country's Visa office . I hope it helps :)

After you send them the photos and a copy of your passport, how long does it usually take for them to issue your CoPR?

damn, they received my application on March 18 2014 then I added my wife in July. ecas would say application received March 18 but today it says

We received your application for permanent residence on July 18, 2014.

adding my wife set me back 4 months.

Guess I'm a July applicant now and I should chill in this thread.

My passport copy was received 20th May and my return envelope was activated on the 22nd, so not very long

Thanks, yes I'm from a visa exempt country. I'd imagine you will get your COPR pretty soon. Are you visa exempt?

It's depend on your application. If ur visa office is New Delhi u will be getting request to send urs pp to New Delhi . But if ur visa office is cpp Ottawa then both Have to send to Ottawa.
