JAN 16 2017 still waiting for PPR . It’s taking for ever . Really frustrating . You can only wait wait and wait it’s almost 18 months and still no update after March 21 2018 .

Time is really precious and waiting for PR like 18 months or more unbelievable .

totally agree. lack of transparency in the process is what's killing us all

Background check and eligibility done June 21 2018
Criminality check is in process ???
Now they asked me PCC (RCMP) .....

Today I called Cic they said we are doing your security check ???

Just wanna ask you guys are they gonna do another background check once I will provide the PCC(RCMP 2nd time ) ???

I landed today with my spouse at IRCC office Edmonton.
I am Feb. 2,2017 applicant with 2 medicals, PPR Jun. 1, CoPR Jun.8.
I contacted IRCC toll-free number on Jun. 11 to book a landing appointment, I was told that they would contact me in 6-8 weeks but I got an email from Edmonton office 3hrs later, they booked us 2 weeks ahead which was today.
I wasn’t expecting that landing at IRCC office would be this quick.
Just sharing my experience for anyone thinking that landing inside Canada would be a option.

I have received the passport request today at 6 pm. Feb 24 single inland applicant. A Russian by nationality.

The whole process that started way back in April 2015 seems to be almost done.

We’re almost there guys!
