PNP - PR - Jan-Feb-March 2016 Applicants

To help those curious souls out there, posting my updated timeline below. Always remember, patience is the key and it's not our RIGHT to get PR, take it more as a privilege. I've seen few people cursing CIC and stuff, but be mindful that it's their call to make not ours. Don't ever burn your bridges and don't bite the feeding hand. I understand it can get very frustrating, and if it makes you feel any better I've been dealing with this immigration process for 7 years now. It took them exactly 16 months to process my application and one of my friends.

Anyhow, my updated Timeline:

Application Submission: Feb 29, 2016
File Number: April 4, 2016
Medical Request: Feb 22, 2017
Background Status Changed/Decision Made: June 6, 2017
Passport Request: June 12, 2017
Passport Sent: June 19, 2017

Return Envelope tracking # is not active as of June 28, 2017.

   I got my passport request last month ,i sent passport to Ottawa and visa stamped and got back my passport last week .My family is in India so that i requested letter from cic, please give instructions letter so that my family members can submit their passports in India .This is almost one month ,i did not get letter till now. Friends my question is ,If somehow bring my family members passport to Canada and submit to Ottawa which is OK or not..please advise me

I didn't get the idea of it being in process ever since I got AOR. for majority it start towards the end of their application. Mine has been in process for a year now I filed my application in may 2016

I have got same thing with background. Did you have additional document request? I did not.

Can paper based do upfront medicals?

I did not get the official email with medical forms but a reminder to do medical so at that point we went and did upfront medical

March 14, 2016 applicant got Decision Made on June 29, 2017.
Now wait for PPR starts...

Got update this morning (June 29,2017) on ECAS saying Decision Made, Just day after my BG changed in to IP.

March 14, 2016 applicant got Decision Made on June 29, 2017.
Now wait for PPR starts...

Hi Sam how long it took your passport to return back from Ottawa

PP request and sent on June 07th, 2017.
Passport stamped on June 12th,2017.
PP received and landed on June 21st, 2017.
