I am Dec 2015 applicants and still waiting like many other applicants from July 2015-Dec 2015. If they send your file for security screening (CSIS), at least add 6 months to the process when your BG changed to in progress!

It's really hard to say. But according to the Notes, they have done my background check which has passed.
My friend had the same timeline as mine, we finished and passed the medical almost the same time, however, she received her PPR already as last week.
Some people are saying security check may vary from 1 month to 1 year depends on the complex of the travelling history etc.
Anyways, good luck to all of us. Wish to get it as soon as possible.

Feb 1, 2016 applicant
AOR 11 April, 2016
Medical Feb 1, 2017
Medical Done Feb 3, 2017
Background N/A
Still waiting for DM & PPR.

Can anyone give me the best contact number to contact IRCC officers.

Argh!
Feb 9 applicant.
Background still N/A. This is taking way too long!
By the way, does anyone know if we need to keep our jobs throughout the whole PNP process?
Now that I am near the end of my application process, what will be the effects of me losing my job? Will my PR be affected? do they ask for job details at the border when getting visa?
If you applied under PNP stream, even if you do not have a valid job offer, it will not affect your eligibility for the process.
Don't worry about it.

Congo.. Enjoy :)

Can you pls share your timeline? What date CIC received your file ?

Thank you!
I still hope I get my PPR in the next few weeks!

I contacted local MP this morning, and got their response an hour later:

"I just spoke with IRCC and confirmed that all requirements have been met and your file was approved April 12th, 2017.
You should be receiving instructions within the next few weeks.
If you are not contacted by the end of June, please let me know and I can follow-up again."

Hope some magic will come!

Hey what is local MP??

How do u contact them ? So are they the one who will contact IRCC.. what info do they need?
Not sure. Email them? Your situation and application number I think.
