I too got my AOR on March 20,2016. They asked my most updated Schedule A, which I uploaded yesterday.

For me background is not needed at this time from day one. Is it different for individuals ?

I have noticed few members have not got their status changed for Background from day one until very last moment. I believe even Druce is one of them .. He got his status changed just two hours before receiving golden email. So do not worry much about it,.

I have been checking my status everyday and today my background check is needed changed from in process to not needed at this time. I am hoping this is a sign that MR is on its way!!!!!

Hi Everyone:

Glad to see progress on this forum too . I have a few questions though.
1 - I still cannot link my application. Is anyone else still struggling?
2 - I got an email which looks like a "reminder email" as it doesn't ask for updated forms and information, but just to review and see if I need to resend documents. I do not see any issues so I will ignore it.

My inland timeline:
Applied early feb 2016.
AOR mid april.
Reminder email mid september 2016.

I struggled for linking my app almost 1 month.
The system is very stupid, and what i did are:

1. use your passport information, don't use your Place of Birth
2. Just input '1' in the applicant quantity field, rather than the actual number, such as '3' (me, my wife and daughter).

I have tried to link my application CIC online but it said no matched blahblah.

I found out Q & A and they said

Some applications are experiencing some technical issues

There are some applications that can’t be linked at this time. We are working to resolve the issue.

Applications that can’t be linked at this time are:
•Express Entry – Provincial Nominee Program applications

So, I don't try to it again. ???

am a first timer here so am hoping someone can help me out. just going through the checklist and the photo requirements got me confused. already in canada with the the fam, wife is a citizen and kid is about 3months, am i still going to submit their 2 photographs as required or just mine alone. any insight into this will be greatly appreciated.

I got email from CIC saying that Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information.

When I login into my account nothing changed and there is no msg :-[

Give it a few days, I remember I had this happened to me a couple of times during work permit and study permit applications....
I got that email as well, with nothing changed in the account...Maybe we are getting our MR!!! ;D

Could be that they've received and added your new Schedule A form to your file. I also submitted mine to them yesterday so i'll let you know if i get the same message.

@euphoria, we have the same time line. Have you received medicals yet? Did they request for additional information from you? I only have my AOR and nothing after that
