Today when I check CIC website, my background change from "In progress" to "Not needed at this time'

What dose mean???

I received my AOR on April 15th 2016, but no further updates yet. My application was received on feb 8

Hey guys,

I received AOR on March 22, 2016 and ask me to link application on Aug 9, 2016 which I didn't do it. (Do I have to do this??? optional??? )
received reminder email on August 30, 2016 which is just general reminder every body gets this one.

Now they requested for additional information.

1. RPRF -> paid
2. Schedule A with details for Address History from July 2008-Aug 2009 -> I found out there is an error for the year I will revise and resubmit this
3. Police Certificate -> I submitted PCC from Korea, Australia and Canada now I am redoing this. Honestly, I don't understand why they need an updated one as I didn't go out of Canada since application submitted but what can I do.


My application was submitted on Jan 11, 2016 just for your information!

Don't worry bro....Even though we did not go out of Canada, they would like to know updated Schedule A. Even I uploaded my documents yesterday and waiting for them to review. I received AOR on March 20, 2016. Our next step is MR....

For me background is not needed at this time from day one. Is it different for individuals ?

Don't worry about it. I sent mine on Feb 16, and the only reason I believe I got the AOR so late is due to me paying $550 via bank draft instead of through the CC. Bank draft payments, I understand, will make you wait for the AOR longer. But remember, it takes 15 months after you submit the application f not after you receive the AOR, for your application to be processed.

Just take a deep breath and wait.

You uploaded your Schedule A form? how did you handle the signature line? Because i know they marked some people'a application as incomplete because of lack of signature

I printed the form, signed it, scanned and uploaded it.

Hi Everyone:

Glad to see progress on this forum too . I have a few questions though.
1 - I still cannot link my application. Is anyone else still struggling?
2 - I got an email which looks like a "reminder email" as it doesn't ask for updated forms and information, but just to review and see if I need to resend documents. I do not see any issues so I will ignore it.

My inland timeline:
Applied early feb 2016.
AOR mid april.
Reminder email mid september 2016.

:it should be easier and faster PNP applications because the extra work have done by the provinces------ my case two years ( employer Pre-screen Application and Nominee Applications ) Express Entry on line 6 months .It is better to delete the all paper application

Hi Druce, would you mind telling when you paid the RPRF? Just trying to figure out how long mine might take

I paid all of my fees when submitting my application. So basically last year September, but I guess this will not help you.

Everything depends on the VO that's processing your application.
