CIC will send you only 1 mail for AOR, PRPR is in 2 ways, u can pay it before sending your application and put the reciecpt with your application, the advantage of doing this is to make your application faster, 2 u can pay it later during medical stage, so its in 2 ways, but i will advice u if u have money u can pay both application fee and right to permanent residence fee at once, but since you have already sent ur applicaiton, u will pay your right to permanent residence fee during or after medicals, u supose send police report with your application at first, they will ask you after medicals or before

Has anyone here applied for work permit while the PNP PR application in progress? Mine went to Singapore and instead of a month (as they say it would take) they are taking longer. It's been over two months for me now for work permit. Any input anyone please on processing time?

Yup, the waiting game sometimes gets the better of you. Stay positive and know that it is coming, you have waited this long, a couple of months more for PR wont hurt, you are almost there!

Hello everyone,

As a paper based PNP applicant, can I apply for a BOWP with my AOR that only says that CIC has received my application given that there is no information saying that they have determined that it is complete as per Regulation 10 on the email?

Is there anyone who is a PNP paper based applicant who has successfully been issued a BOWP and they applied using only the AOR email that says their application has been received? Again, I emphasize that my email did not say that CIC has determined my application to be complete and I am not an Express Entry applicant.

Someone I know got an AOR email saying that CIC has received their application and determined it to be complete. But my email only says that CIC has received my application.

Please share your experiences.

Hi All,

For people who have already sent their PR under ONIP Master stream. I have a question related to IELTS when I apply for PR after ONIP nomination.

I took IELTS on AUG 2015, and I applied for ONIP Master Stream on MAR 2016. I haven't get AOR yet, but based on others' timeline, I believe the time for AOR might be July or AUG and SEP or OCT for nomination letter. The checklist of PR application shows that I need to submit proof of language, but at the time I apply for PR, my IELTS is beyond one year. Do I need to take a new IELTS or just submit the old one when I apply for PR?

I got a refund mail from CIC because my over-payed my immigration fee. Who knows how long I need to wait.
It seem this will seriously delayed my process. :-\ :-[
